I think the Ford Mobile Charge Cord is the most-likely issue. Either get the dealer to replace it under warranty, or buy a new mobile charger (I personally use a J+ Booster 2).I used the same outlet to charge a Nissan Leaf I had before the truck. The Leaf gave a consistant charge. I didn't use a ground fault breaker because the outlet is in the ceiling of my 9' garage. I have unplugged it and replugged it. It never seemed warm. My local dealer said I could bring it in to be checked, but they would need it for a couple of days. I charged the Lightning at a publc free charging yesterday. It added 12kwhs in 1 hour and 42 minutes. I guess that is normal. Before I buy a wall unit I am still hoping for a bi-directional charger. Thank you for the information.
If the charger has been replaced and you're still showing a problem, check the outlet. If you did a DIY circuit for your charger, check all of the connections and make sure they are torqued correctly. One issue with EV charging is that there is a good bit of heating even if everything about the circuit is fine. This can cause connections that to work loose over time if they weren't correctly torqued.
If the charger and outlet are proven good and you still have a problem, then and only then send the truck to the dealership for diagnosis. The fact that the truck charges OK from a different source suggests that the problem isn't the truck.
