I need to drill my plugs for the Retrax drain lines. I want to take the plugs out to do it.
I assumed these things were more of a rubber-type material that would sort of squeeze in and out...but when i tap on them, they feel like hard plastic.
before i break out the screwdriver and pry... is there a known best way to remove them?

Same. Removed by hand, drilled and reinserted for drain lines. They are very stiff coming and out and going back in.
