Anyone have a good link to an eBay seller or other for a right taillight replacement on a 24 Flash. Just looking for a reputable seller. Thanks.

If you find used be sure it's correct style. Not sure if flash is same as Lariat or XLT?

There are two styles of lights, sometimes referred to Hi and Lo, based on if you have the reverse light bar in the tailgate. Pro/XLT/Flash are Lo; Lariat/Plat are Hi.

Originally you could only get $2200 new from dealer or about $700 used from an eBay seller. Now there are Chinese clone options on eBay that seem to get okay reviews and are cheaper.

Are you able to move your BLIS sensor over or is it damaged? The clone ones do not come with a sensor. Even with original it’s best to move the BLIS sensor over to avoid reprogramming it.

Its just cracked, so can move sensor. I was just looking if anyone bought one off ebay and could recommend a reseller.

I have bought from both @townstarautomotive and @abcauto11 who I would recommend. Don’t know if either has one currently. I would find a seller with lots of sales if looking for used. Today, I would likely just go with the clone option from a US seller or Amazon.

Yep, that’s what I would do today rather than eBay used. It’s a clone without the sensor but good price and easy return If needed.
That's why I went with Amazon, easy return if needed.

If you know the part number, just search on eBay...I have had good luck getting new in the box but discounted auto parts on eBay.

I do always look at the rating of the seller, and look for free shipping if possible.

Haven't had any trouble with eBay sellers in recent years, much better now than in the early days.

I had a cracked taillight as well, with several inches of water in its bottom. A Ford dealer mechanic gave me advice which worked.

I drilled three 1/4 inch holes in the very bottom, which is flat. Then, any water which can get in drains right out.

I also did this as an insurance policy to the bottom of the other taillight.

FYI replacing the radar square unit is easy if it's too damaged by water to work after drying out. A Ford radar unit costs about $480. Cheaper, superseded (obsolescent) radar units are available on Amazon, but "buyer beware" as in my case every unit from Amazon sellers had obsolescent model numbers.

ForScan can calibrate new radar units... I did my new unit in about 40 minutes once I understood how to do it.

i had the right rear tail light replaced under warranty, there were no visible cracks, but it had a moisture build up in it . is your truck still under warranty? is the crack a defect or was it caused by an object that jumped behind your truck when you were backing it up?
