Kentucky Anyone found a Hood Defector for the 2022 F150 Lightning

I am looking for some assistance in locating a Hood (Bug) Defector for my 2022 Lariat.

I’ve searched Ford Accessories and Amazon with no luck.

To fit properly. It has a somewhat different profile on the outer edges than what the hood has. ?

I may try to fit it again before I return it, but I’m sure there is something off about it.

After entering my VIN the website says it doesn’t fit also.

I bought this and installed it on my ‘22 lariat.
No issues. Shouldn’t be any difference between ‘22 and ‘23.
I wonder if they gave/sent you the wrong one??

This one is not smooth. It has a texture to it and feels more like a soft plastic as opposed to yours which has slick stiffer feel.

Do you have any information on source and version of that one?

I checked your SKU and it’s the same one I got. The surface difference isn’t the Saran Wrap, right?

I ordered from Ford Accessories, and was delivered to my local dealer.

Looks like you got it from Ford as well…I’d chat with your dealer and have them try again.

Huh?

Not the same surface has a texture to it and the there is a raised section in the center of the hood. It’s definitely the same one.

I’m sending it back and will go looking for one from a direct aftermarket provider.

I also ordered the one above and it has been 3 months now. The first one came in with the ICE Aeroskin in the box. Apparently, Ford packed a bunch of ICE F150 Aeroskins with the Lightning part numbers. They don't fit the Lightning and they haven't figured out how to get the correct Aeroskins packaged/delivered properly yet. Still waiting.

I ordered it early March online, and had it shipped to the dealer…showed up like a week later.

I ordered directly thru Ford.Accessories and it took about week or ten days.

It’s going back today.

I ordered mine in April and it only took a few days but was incorrect like The Weatherman. I told my dealer to order another one and see if they have it figured out yet.
