Side mirrors for towing - standard or optional w/ tow package(s)?

First, I am not a Ford person so I am asking if it's obvious to all...

Does anyone know if the side mirrors on the Lightning will be available for towing use ?

Is an extendable and/or flip side mirrors available as an option with the tow package ?

I have seen the Ford HD and SuperDuty trucks have extendable mirrors that can pull out to see around the sides & back while towing.
And RAM 1500 has the 90 degree flip mirrors for towing.

I do not know, but would suggest exploring this as a dealer installed option.

Since you are in the electric Lightning forum, I’ll assume you are asking for the Lightning.
Tow mirrors on the ICE F-150 are an option. They do NOT come with any tow package.
I have seen nothing regarding offering on the Lightning, and because they are gearing this truck for MPG’s, I’ll bet they will not be offered. However, it looks like all-terrain tires may be an option, so who knows. If the doors of the Lightning are truly a shared item from the 14th gen ICE F-150, then the tow mirrors should be a simple switch, provided options are similar.

My xlt didn't have that feature from the factory so no. The mirrors I ordered don't have that feature either. I would guess if you gave your dealer or the eBay seller I bought mine from your vin they could get you the right mirrors that would work as factory

View around the sides of the trailer must be so much better!

I'm probably one of the few people that actually bought my lightning as a work/tow vehicle so good mirrors are a requirement. I use mine to tow my 6500 lb enclosed trailer daily for work. The fuel savings going from a diesel almost covers my payment
