The Blizzak LT is a somewhat different beast. I moved mine across from my ICE F150 (remounting them on HDPP wheels since my old winter wheels weren't rated for the Lightning's weight) and they have tread left and are still performing well in their 3rd season.

I have been wishing I went with the Nokians for a little less range loss. The Nokians have much lower rolling resistance than other good snow tires. But I think the non-aero wheels are part of it too. Shame the 18" wheels from the Pro are basically unobtainable.

I ordered these tire & rims from Costco.

They look great and I have not noticed much of a range loss. I had to buy the TPMS from Costco as well they won't install 3rd party units. Every thing works. So I guess I will install the 3rd party TPMS on my RV trailer. See if I can get the truck see them. Oh!! these are in Canadian dollars.:)

thanks for the tips. I got mine installed at Costco today. They didn’t question anything about the OEM specs, even though I was going down to 18” rims:

So we got our first snowfall (Detroit area) worth calling snow today, very wet, about 1.5" so not bad by any means - but I'm VERY surprised about how bad the stock General something (Lariat 20") tires worked in these conditions. Despite the truck being so heavy it felt as if it was floating on-top of the snow and anything except a straight line forward was an adventure.
With two months left of the season and me hardly driving anywhere I'll try and tough it out, but for next season I'm definitely getting a set of dedicated Hakka winters.
