It's such an incredible road trip truck! I recently did a solo 4200 mile trip. Had a plug-in cooler in the back packed full of food. I used Tesla everywhere I could and didn't experience a single issue (thankfully). I had to use EA once and they let me down. Thankfully there was a Rivian charger right next to it.

I also bought the Tesla membership for the trip. Best $13 you can spend when you're traveling such a far distance. That $13 saved me hundreds in charging costs.

Yeah the Tesla membership is the way to go and pays for itself in about 2 charges !

I used to think Electrify America was unreliable. On a recent 3500 mile trip from the Pacific NorthWest to Arizona and California I mostly used Tesla chargers. I think the two failures to charge at Tesla could have been due to my not using the Tesla app correctly. The several times I've used EA recently, before and since have been 100% successful.

This was the most success I’ve ever had with EA. I still primarily used Tesla but I did have 4 EA stops and only the 1 had issues where 1 station failed altogether and the other had a derate problem. The other stops had Greta charging speeds and curves. EA to their credit did send a tech out to fix it and sent me a message as a follow up which was encouraging to see as well
