Welcome lighting on/off option missing

Apparently my vehicle's configuration does not have the option to turn this feature on or off. First off, why would Ford not include this on every truck? Secondly, can this be added to my truck? I don't need the exterior lights coming on every time I open a door and I can't shut the damn thing off.

There is a FORscan option to enable a switch to Silent (aka campground or dark) mode. That keeps the truck dark with you unlock or open doors.
