I’ve been looking over the wiring diagrams.
The violet/brown wire and white/blue wire we have in our trailer tow connectors (pins 4 and 5) go directly to the restraints control module, and they’re made for the yaw sensors.
Meaning, if we are going to be able to add the trailer camera and TPMS in the future, it will require an add on harness and repinning that connector.
Under “trailer TPMS/trailer camper prep package” it shows:
Pin 9, 10 and 8 going to the IPMA pins 9, 8 and 18 respectively, and are labeled “trailer NTSC+,” “trailer NTSC-“ and “trailer shield”, respectively. These must be for the trailer camera.
Pins 2 and 3 are labeled “module communications network” and pin 1 goes to the fuse 25 in the battery junction box.
Pin 6 goes to ground.
