I have the exact same truck was thinking about doing the same set up. Did you find much MPG change with it being a powerboost and the KO2 being alot heavier than the stocks?Not the greatest pictures due to the shadows, but all I got at the moment. Lariat 20" Sport wheels with 285/65/20 BFG KO2s. Rough Country 2" leveling kit installed.
you fit 285/65r20 without a level on your 21?I had a white 2016 that I leveled and installed spacers on but used the stock tire size with a KO2 275/60/18. The tire looked small after the level. This time I went with a bigger tire. After all of the research I went with a KO2 285/65/20. I plan to level but I'm still trying to figure out if a leveling kit will interfere with my lane keeping, bluecruise, and self leveling headlights. Any heads up with that would be appreciated. I plan to go 2" so I still have a little rake for towing. And I may leave it like this too. Not sure yet.

Depends on where I drive, honestly. I live in the foothills of the Ozarks, so I do a lot of up and down driving; and a lot of short distances. Over the first 10,000 miles, I think got 16.9 mpg. That included break in and getting used to the nuances of Powerboost driving. I typically, around town, average 17.5-18.5 mpg per tank. I was in South Georgia over the holiday (where it is mostly flat) and was easily getting 23-26 mpg on most days. On the way to Georgia, I did 20.1 mpg on the highway (75-85mph) and 19.8 mpg on the way back. Powerboost doesn't kick in on the highway, especially when you use cruise, which I do a lot on long trips. I have done some long/steep downhills on the interstate, which would be the perfect time for electric to kick in, but it doesn't.
Very nice, Jpmpr33. Just wanted to try again to see if we could find out why the Rough Country brackets didn’t work.So for anyone wondering these did not work for my truck. However I did get a different shackle Mount from Amazon that did the trick.
Unfortunately that set up wont fit without rubbing even on a leveled truck. Max size you can get away with is 295/70/18 or 305/65/18 on the stock 18 inch wheels.
Thanks for the response! I was kinda hoping to avoid going to a wider tire because I like the tucked look. Plus a narrower tire does better in snow. But the options for a 285/70/18 a very limited and expensive. Where does a 295/70/18 put the tire in relation to the edge of the fenders?
why wouldnt that work? It ends up being a 34.8 x 11.2. Ive seen some guys run a 285/65r20 which is roughly 34.6x11.2 with stock wheel and no level. They claim to have no rubbing.
I know a member on here had them and he rubbed, maybe not on pavement but on articulation I'm sure it'll rub. Also Wild Willies Customs did a truck with that tire on a level and the owner left a comment on the video that it rubs at full lock. It was a 2wd though so on a 4wd it probably wont be bad but it depends if you're willing to have some rub vs none.
