My gf has confirmed that it is, indeed, the driver side mirror. It bothers me that they only gave it ONE auto dimming mirror.
That is typical for the F150. Mine going all the way back to 2010, were all like that. I never get any glare from the passenger side, prob based on the angle I have it set, and tinted windows.

FDRS showed an APIM/TCU update yesterday for my truck so I did it (took several hours) and now my Sync is at 21281 rev244. I briefly experimented today to see if I could get the Bed Camera (IOD) card working but still nothing. Will do some more experimenting this weekend and see if I can get some better results.

I also was able to get my Sync version up to 21281 rev244 with FDRS. I now have camera's at speed also based on the following changes. I have a Feb 2021 build.

IPMA 706-02-02 xxxB CExx xx--
APIM 7D0-01-01 xxxx xxxx Fx--
APIM 7D0-01-02 6xxx xxxx xx- (Tried it but I lost my camera menu "three horizonal bars". Went back to stock)
APIM 7D0-01-04 xxxx EDxx xx--

I haven't been able to get my Rear-View Split-view button (See picture) to work. I can tap it all I want and nothing happens.

Is it possible to make mirror lights and bed truck light works while in motion by forscan?
Also how to enable DRL when the gear shift in Park position? Because it switch off when I put gear in P.
I have 2021 F150 Lariat 502A.
I have the same question about the DRL’s.
Do any of you know if it’s possible to keep the DRL’s ON while the vehicle shift is in parking?

On the last generation, it required a wiring modification under the steering column. From the explanation I saw, there is a specific circuit in the truck that only has power up to a certain speed and then shuts off. The wiring modification simply removed the mirror spotlights from that circuit and provided 12v all of the time.

I miss the 13th gen mirror spotlights. They were much brighter.

Based on this info I was able to enable Auto heated and cooled seats.

Seats automatically heat or cool based on internal truck temp and selected temp. You will also see a APIM display of your temp selection and whether you are in Auto mode or not. Manual control is retained via the buttons. I just implemented this tonight and everything seems works as expected in auto, but I haven't done any long term testing, so mileage may vary. You will need heat / cooled seats and auto climate for this to work.

My truck is a 2021 402A Tremor which is equivalent to a 502A Lariat. Other trims should verify your original as-build against the spread sheet for possible differences.

Please tell me someone wants to figure out how to have ForScan make this happen....
This is likely APIM, IPC, and ABS changes but it looks like the Tremor has additional ABS addresses that a '21 or 21.5 doesn't have and it has "Enhanced Memory" as default where my ABS doesn't so I'm skeptical of getting it to work. However, if you're wanting to try and have backups then I would try the following:

APIM 7D0-02-01 xxx7 xxxx xx-- reset APIM after this change
IPC 720-10-01 xxxC xxxx xx--
IPC 720-07-02 x7xx xx--
ABS 760-04-01 xxxx xxx1 x1--


EDIT: Just tried this in my truck and got the Trail Turn Assist slider to appear in Sync but couldn't turn it on so I suspect there's something else going on with ABS version/values

After making the the changes I listed in the post it will pop up when you press the seat heat or cooling buttons on the HVAC control.

My raptor doesn't have the rear split view at speeds. So im not sure your missing anything

EDIT- I just noticed you where reffering to the regular rear view and not the wide/split rear view like we can do with the front.

@Sentinel1201 Did you get a fix for this issue? I’m having the same issue with my AMP power Steps.

Hello @Livnitup I am having issues with my OBD port and wondering if there is a setting in Forscan that can help. Here is the issue: I have the controller for my AMP power steps plugged into my OBD port. It will work fine, but intermittently stop working after truck has been running or idling for a while (either my generator is working or we are sitting in truck for extended periods). If I unplug OBD connector for the powersteps and reconnect, it will immediately start working again for a while till problem repeats.

Already eliminated faulty ground, checked connections, zip tied controller to the port itself to eliminate it shaking loose being a cause, but no effect.

It seems the truck stops communicating with whatever is plugged in to OBD after it has been running for a while. Is there a timeout feature for the OBD port that I can disable via forscan??

EDIT:
Here are the stored DTC's I just pulled via Forscan. I have disabled idle shutoff via forscan and it seems to be throwing a code? I wonder if my OBD losing connection with the AMP module is related to idle shut off somehow? There are also many DTCs for lost communication with trailer brake controller, lighting control module, etc. which surprise me.

Yes. In my case it turned out to be improper splicing of the signal wires. I redid the splice with different splice connectors than the ones supplied and everything has been good since.

I just bought the 2021 Hybrid F150. Forscan isn't showing the BCM when it scans. Has anyone seen that?
