Reading this as someone who had a 2021 Bronco Order accepted 15 months ago which was converted to a 2022 and still has no build date in sight.
With the bronco did they have reservations that were later converted to orders at their discretion on their timetable or did you go to the dealer and place the order then wait for a build date? If it was the later I have more hope. If the former... Not so much.

I reserved a Bronco within 24 hours on July 14th. With the Bronco launch, you also indicated the trim you wanted. Ford then produced a time table for orders many months later. We were invited by Ford corporate to convert our reservation to an order in December of 2020. The Dealer called us and requested our build sheet. Ford confirmed and accepted the order for a 2021. Ford communicated with us many times about our 2021 order. In October of 2021, Ford officially converted our Order to a 2022. Now we are about 15 months from Ordering and about 6 months from the conversion to 2022 and we aren't even scheduled for production. Ford has "no information" about when we will get our Bronco, even though we've removed several of the components that were supposedly slowing things down.

So forgive me if I'm not super confident that they will deliver on their orders in a timely fashion.

Getting hopes up for scheduling. Tim Bartz (fordvideoguy) weekly update said that F150 would be scheduling this week. Does the lightning schedule with the regular f150? Nobody on here is reporting a scheduling change this week.

Next Thursday is cut-off day. You would have to assume after that will be fireworks.

Please remember the many first day reservation holders who didn't get an order invite :(

With that said, congrats and I hope you get scheduled soon!
The difference between us right now is that Ford has an additional $500 interest free loan from me, and not from you.

Based on Ford saying summer will be when orders open up again, I assume they have some insight on when the missing parts will be available. I wouldn't be shocked if the no build date Lightnings and the MY23 Lightnings all roll off the line at around the same time. Scheduling is currently through May, best case for us without build dates is June. If orders start being taken again in July, that may potentially mean we're in the same-ish boat for actual production.

For me, it’s $1600. My dealer asked for another $1000. I know people on the forum said they weren’t allowed to ask for anything else, but they did.

Meanwhile, I still don‘t have a build date.

Let's get our Lightning line worker back up in the forum? How's production line moving.

My understanding is that the money goes to the dealer and not to Ford. That is why there is a refund if you switch dealerships or your dealership changes ownership. So, you’ve given the dealership an interest free loan at 0.05 percent or some other paltry amount.

JerseyShoreFord said that if my Lightning wasn't scheduled and if it had the 360 camera and park assist that it's not being built until MY23. Is that true?

That's going to be pretty disappointing.

We might need to put those on a subscription order.

https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/thr...ling-next-week-3-28-for-build-week-4-25.9635/

If they're scheduling for 4/25 and the last wave of lightning schedules went to 6/3. We may need to accept we're not going to hear anything for another 6 weeks if we're considered F-150 scheduling as well...
As long as Ford:

A) Doesn't raise the price of what now seems destined to be a Wave 2 MY23 order and...
B) My truck makes it to me by the end of October...

...then I will be okay-ish. You guys will just need to get used to me posting here for the next 7 months. The biggest downside is the fed will bump up rates several additional times between now and October, so my loan likely will be 1% higher based on not winning the scheduling lottery.
