Strange how some of these have shipped with estimated delivery dates in August and mine still hasn't shipped even though my delivery window is between 7/20 and 7/26.

You can finish up my line - actual delivery date, to the dealership 7/6 to me 7/11
Delivery delay was due to me. After reading the forum I decided I wanted the spray-in bed liner. I couldn't get the factory installed so the dealer set me up with Rhino Liner and it was installed late Friday and the truck sat in the Rhino Liner shop all weekend.
I have one last item to have installed, a hard cover for the box, same color as the truck.
We ended up selling the MkS to Carvana - got 25% more than the dealer offered, it was a painless process.
Wife was pleased to find that the Lightning has A/C seats, like the Lincoln did; she ended up with the Mach-E and has just heated seats.
Final note for now, I have a typical suburban garage and have 6 inches to spare with the Lightning parked and the door closed. I was worried, but it fits.

I just checked shop.ford.com and it now shows that my Lightning Lariat has shipped!! The estimated delivery to the dealership in Northern California is 6/31 - 7/6. I had checked a couple of hours ago and this was just updated. No email from Ford yet. I am sure happy to finally see that it has shipped.

Now that I show "shipped" and "In Transit", how do I follow its progress on the railcar? I phoned Ford Marketing and was told that it was loaded on a Canadian National Railcar this morning and given a railcar number.

FYI, the back door method to the PALS system discussed in these threads has apparently been closed, but the automated phone tracers for Union Pacific and CSX are still active…used them today…..

I'm probably on the same train as you. Canada website shoes shipped today to NorCal 7/31-8/6. It's happening!I just checked shop.ford.com and it now shows that my Lightning Lariat has shipped!! Thank you Firestop. I will see what I can do. I have tracked car carrier vessels from Germany but never a railcar in the US. While it won't make the Lightning get here any faster, it is very exciting to see where it is!

So my lightning spent alittle over a day in Atlanta area GA and now when I call to check my rail, it says my railcar departure on a flat car. Does that mean convoy or just a different type of rail car?
