Bc I’m a dumbass and just flat out spelled it wrong. It’s a mental glitch. Like when people used to say O’Biden without hearing it. But that aside. I love this truck and I traded in my dream truck 2017 6.7. Honestly though I would hate it. And I don’t think I would ever buy another ICE vehicle as a daily driver again. It’s been fucking awesome frankly. The white lightning and I have been to figurative war together and it has prevailed stronger and cheaper than my diesel ever did. I strapped 12,000 pounds of stone to it last fall.

How responsive was the truck with all that weight?

Performed exceptionally well. Especially with the amount of miles on the original tires in this pic. I didn’t change them out until 71k. I don’t do many 0-60s as you can tell to get them that far lol. But it pulled it far better than I was expecting it too

? This is the reason that I’ll never reach 100k miles. I had a bad module replaced last month at only about 6k miles. I love the truck and initially thought I’d keep it a very long time. But now I have trust issues. I won’t keep it past the warranty period. I envy those who have high miles and no issues.
This is the reason I too want to trade in at the 100k warranty expiration. But i won’t get another one until they add range to the battery. I’ll keep it and wait for more range

that would be a LOT of miles in a few short years since even the first one hit the ground...

but, yes, with over 52,000 miles, in on a long travel trip this week for another 700+ miles over several days to see three sons in N Georgia and far N Alabama and back, I don't see a single degradation of the battery, no issues with any build or equipment or software, and using ProPower to make coffee, power the TV for overnights, electrons to keep the tMobile WIFI box operational, etc., and making good use of Tesla Supercharger locations... all is good.
I still pinch myself with the smoooooooooth easy riding, especially at 70+mph on heavy-traffic interstates... wow! : )
Yup, my thoughts exactly. 49K on my 2022 ER. Runs like a watch and smooth as silk.

My ‘22 just turned over 47k miles with no problems :) I’m still driving my ICE truck as well as not to run up the miles quite as quick. I plan on putting over 300k on this truck just like I have done with my ICE F-150s.
I'm at over 137,000 now so we shouldn't have a problem getting 300,000 miles. I do expect a maintenance bill soon for shocks etc. Normal wear items outside of tires.

I think you are unnecessarily paranoid here. Most electronic devices fail in the early life. The battery module that failed early was a manufacturing problem. A great many of us have vehicles recalled for the 23OH issue. I now have over 137,000 miles on my truck and battery health bounces around 97.5-98.5%. I will not hesitate to drive across the country in, and plan to keep it until 300,000

Last evening in Louisville Kentucky my Lightning reached 100,000 miles. I bought it new in June 2024, so I've had it now for just over 22 months.

The trusty Lightning has driven us from the Atlantic to the Pacific (not in a straight line) in Summer 2024 and up to Newfoundland Canada this past December & January. All this while towing our trusty Pika 1,600 pound teardrop camping trailer.

At home I TOU-charge every night with the Ford FCPS at (near) 80 amps, or 17.6 kWHours, so even when neatly empty, the truck is full in seven hours or so. On the road, we charge wherever there is electricity, at DC Fast points or at 240V or occasionally at 120V if necessary. No noticeable traction battery degradation at 100,000 miles.

On the Bonneville Salt Flats Speedway the truck reached 107 / 108 mph during every one of the 15 runs. It also reached 32 mph in reverse (nephew's idea 😅).

Faulty or broken items: the right rear taillight fritzed out after we got back from the cold Newfoundland trip four months ago. It turns out the taillight casing had 4 inches of water in its bottom, right where the plastic shell is black and where the corner radar sensor is located. On a Ford mechanics' advice I opened the sensor square door and also twisted off the round wiring harness connector cap (the connector cap has a one-way detent which broke off but the cap screws back on and stays on anyway) and dried out the inside with a small fan. I had to buy a new radar sensor for about $480 but hey that's wayyy cheaper than a new taillight. The Ford mechanic advised I drill several 1/4 inch holes in the very bottom of the taillight shell, and I added one more on the top rear "overhang" of the taillight so that all the holes point down, to drain future water and for air circulation. Then I did the same hole pattern for the other taillight as insurance.

That taillight was the only item which failed on the truck in 100,000 miles.

Wearout items: all four OEM shocks were completely worn out at about 60,000 miles. I replaced them with the Eibach shocks for the Lightning, keeping the same OEM heights and the OEM springs. This is a great improvement in ride and handling and, likely, shock durability.

I had replaced all four Hankook OEM tires, one twice, under a dealership tire 99k mile warranty contract, all five replacements for busted or gouged tire sidewalls. I'm now close to wearing out the four "free" replacement Hankooks and will switch them out for Michelin Defenders by the end of Summer. One well-used Hankook lives on as a spare tire on an EBay spare OEM wheel under truck.

This is a great truck. It has served us very well for camping, while towing the teardrop camper and for work.

My major mod = the 2d Generation Decked Drawers cargo drawers in the bed. With the Decked Drawers we don't need a bed cover and we have gained eight bed tie-in points, which come in handy all the time. Besides, now all tools, towing gear and camping gear live permanently on the truck within easy reach. I also found that the very useful Australian MaxTrack "get-out-of-stuck" boards fit securely and perfectly between the end of the Decked Drawers and the inside of the tailate.

I intend to keep this fantastic truck until the wheels just fall off.

Congrats on 100K!
Took me longer than I'd like to admit to figure out why you were hauling this sign around in the bed of your Lightning, but I figured it out :p
Cheers and here's to 100k more!

Is there anyone who has a 100K miles on their truck. Maybe we should have a 100K mile club?
130k for me sir. I thought I had a bad module. But it’s a software issue they are trying to straighten. Out. Other than that. One
