Don't know if it's relevant or not but there's a new frunk update out, just did mine the other day. I wasn't having any problems with it, just saw the update available in FRDS. Perhaps it's applicable to all of them? Mine is a 25 so again I don't know how relevant it is to these malfunctions or not.

There was also an update for the brake booster failure recall, took care of that as well.

Keeping an open mind, but if this one turns into a continuous set of calls to Ford, I won’t own it through the extended warranty period.

Sad ending to my Lightning Ownership Saga. After more than 10 days in the shop(s) and 5 separate attempts to fix my Frunk, two local Ford dealers simply gave up.

They literally have no idea what's wrong with it (replaced both struts, motors, and module, and complete software re-install).

So, as I warned them I would, I traded it on Saturday. I'll miss the fabulous ride and towing. I won't miss the Ford service dept incompetence and the $1/mile depreciation. (Yes, I took it in the shorts when I traded it 4.5 months after buying it.)

Good luck to you all.
