I have this exact mount and it works great - easily clears the shade and good connection to starlink through the roof even with it flat (the EBS phased array antenna in this thing is amazing!).

Question for you though - how are you getting the cable out of the sunroof area? I haven't looked too closely but it seems like they have the trough sealed pretty will (which is good!), but I'd like to be able to close the shade completely with the antenna up there, so need a way to get the cable out of that area.
Did you ever solve this?

The only option is $50, correct? With Starlink I like that when we aren't traveling I can change it to the $5/month "standby" plan which gives some data and lets the Starlink do firmware updates, but we aren't traveling every month so paying $50/mo without end is the only thing keeping me from trying the T-Mobile route, unless they changed it.

If they let you pay as you go, basically pay for April then shut it off for May then again in June, that would be ideal.

I realize that this is a conversation/questions about Starlink, as some may feel the need for it if spending a lot of time in very rural areas, especially in the west...

we use a simple device: T-Mobile whole home internet "in a box", of sorts, as it is simply a plug-in device that provides an easy "always on" wifi signal: $50 monthly.

I have been amazed that this device works almost anywhere we go - it plugs into the truck, or our camper, or at home, and is always on. It only takes a 120v outlet, whether at home, in the camper, or while driving in the LIGHTNING. No cables. No coax. Nothing.

What’s the data speeds and data amount allowed each month?

I don't know of a limit on the data amount with the plan, but speed is limited to 0.5mbps. So it works for things like voice calls or whatever over the connection and can be used for browsing with some patience. But not really usable for any kind of streaming or sites with a lot of media. Assuming you were asking about their $5/mo standby plan for Starlink.

Sorry I should’ve clarified. I meant for that Tmobile option.

I use Starlink mini and switch between unlimited for peak travel season and swap back to that $5 plan you use. Works great.

I fished mine behind the rear passenger seat belt trim, then behind and under the rear

having traveled the country in our diesel motorhome several times back in the 2014-2020 timeframe, we experienced the 'woes' of trying to always have an internet connection. Campgrounds struggled to 'provide' some type of wifi, or, well, in the really early days, the more typical "we have wifi here at the office", then providing some basic wifi to the campground sites, which wasn't always sufficient for even checking email, and, of course, barring ANYONE from trying to 'stream' anything...
we had some time trying to use some type of 'antenna' to capture the internet, but, back in the day, those were costly, slow, capped, and not always available if not in the 'full' clear sky. Camping is usually in the woods... oh well. Satellite TV was similar.

when cell phone HOT SPOTS became available, and much easier, these made a lot more sense, and were a lot easier, although the Hot Spot 'caps' and cost made this an issue, as well...

there have been a LOT of changes in the world of the internet in 10 years.

and, to put this in perspective, as we have it 'so easy' now... many campgrounds still have vestiges of the 'old' technology... not only 'cable tv' coax outputs, but, yes, PHONE SERVICE outlets... yes, the type where you plug in a REAL phone......... : / .........times are a changin'

It's $160 a month if you travel with it, https://www.t-mobile.com/home-internet/plans/rv-camper-internet-plans

Then again, it's been working OK in our RV camping around our county at the $50 plan. Interwebs suggest if you get it now then roaming may not work but if you've had the subscription for a while (year or more) then it continues to roam OK although it violates the Terms Of Service.

Did you get the cord in through the corner on the side of the rolled up shade?
Yeah, I ran it over the top of the rolled up shade and down behind the trip piece holding the rear passenger seat belt in. When I get back to my truck I can take some better pics.

Pics would definitely be appreciated if possible. I'll be doing this in the next could days.
