No I don’t have it either. Though the update finally downloaded recently, but I just can’t get it to actually install. Any tips from those here who had this happen? I tried the 12v disconnect.
I apologize because I'm sure this has been asked many times, but did you have to get a manual IPMA update via the dealer (for whatever reason) to get the download?

Hope you get answers, BTW, I see you noted an OTA in your signature, have you stopped receiving them lately or just stopped documenting them in the SIG?
Sorry, just got lazy and stopped recording them. Now I can only see the last 90 days. But it looks like I have all the ones you list back to, but not including the BC 1.4 IPMA update. And the frunk, and smooth windows. Just got the top two on your sig in the last few days.

You can also reach out to Ford’s EV Advisors and they can check for updates on your truck. I reached out once and within 15 minutes my truck downloaded an update.
I'll try that again - it's been a couple months since I reached out to them (they told me "who knows when you'll get it").

I honestly don’t know. I did take it in last week so see if there was an issue with any of the modules preventing updates. They didn’t find anything and wanted an absurd amount to perform the available module updates. I declined but then received two of the Update 12 updates, and then the downloaded BC 1.4. Seems coincidental, considering others also got them.

It’s possible it was a complete fluke, but I reached out shortly after I bought my Lightning since it had been on the lot for a bit. They told me they did see an update available, and I think before we’re even done texting my truck notified me it had started to update.

Just had another chat with EV support (btw, the text messaging seems like it just shoves you to the Virtual Assistant. I asked for and supposedly got a human). They said exactly the same thing as before. "OTA deployments occur gradually, the exact timing can vary, blah blah blah"

Very frustrating. Put it on the pile with other things we never got, like pro trailer hitch assist. I'm glad some of you got 1.4 anyway.

Does the screen says "not completed", or is the OTA trigger still actively trying to install the update? If it is the OTA in the subject line, this OTA was sent out to enable the BC 1.4 features for trucks that already had the IPMA updated. This is one of very VERY few OTA's that actually require wifi to install (according to Ford's PTS website anyway).

Depending where you look, sometimes it says Update Postponed: “Your latest update was postponed because it was interrupted by another process”. I believe I have also seen the Not Completed language on the software update screen as well.

Whenever I get back into the truck it tells me the update is available.

If it is still available, try connecting to wifi in this case.

No luck. Made sure it was connected and same result. I get back in the truck and it’s like nothing happened. No message that it was postponed or could not complete.

Message me the VIN so I can check what the OTA dashboard is saying.

@pjell See below. This is the reason it is failing. Not sure what you can do to overcome this, though. Battery SoC and capacity is good. Not to mention, all this update does is change config; there is no firmware being flashed, so battey conditions are relevant. If you have FORScan, you can just make the changes yourself. You do not need to depend on this OTA to get the BC 1.4 features enabled.

To clarify, you’re saying this update doesn’t change config? And battery conditions are relevant but mine are good?

Unfortunately I don’t have forscan and don't even own a windows device anymore to use it on. Not sure it’s worth the hassle when I only have a few months of the free BC remaining.
