  1. powertrain malfunction with 100% power - Code P0DE9

    $105, after shipping and tax I paid $126. https://ford.oempartsonline.com/oem-parts/ford-diverter-valve-nl3z8c509a
  2. powertrain malfunction with 100% power - Code P0DE9

With as little coolant as I lost I'm not worried. It looked to be less than 1/2 a cup of coolant in the valve. I'm going to watch the reservoir, but I'm pretty confident that the small bubble will work itself out.
  3. powertrain malfunction with 100% power - Code P0DE9

Part arrived today and it took me an hour to replace. Code cleared itself after. So tell me, why was my quote for the repair $1,500? Is the labor rate $1,300 an hour at the dealership? Dealerships wonder why people don't like them, this is why!
  4. powertrain malfunction with 100% power - Code P0DE9

I got this code too. I give the dealership the code hoping to avoid the diagnostic fee, that didn't work, and I charged $200 for them to tell me what I already knew. But the part they could have told me first was that I was a single month out of date for the 3 year warranty.... Hoping that...
  5. Glare Free Headlights - Use Case

It works on my 23 Lariat SR after enabling via FORScan.
  6. BlueOval Charge Network expands Plug & Charge to IONNA and Ford Charge

I don't think anyone is arguing, just expressing the desire to remove a friction point. You could say the same thing about the trucks keyfob vs a physical key. You do the exact same thing, but I would still want a fob over just a physical key to unlock and start the vehicle.
  7. BlueOval Charge Network expands Plug & Charge to IONNA and Ford Charge

I have no problem with the monthly charge, I just don't want to have to use the app to take advantage of the discount. If I'm taking a short trip and only need one or two charges I won't enroll in a membership and get the non member rates. But if I know I'm going to charge a lot for a trip I...
  8. BlueOval Charge Network expands Plug & Charge to IONNA and Ford Charge

Might have been a bit of an embellishment, over my planned trip it would be 28% cheaper to have the membership. When you use plug and charge the charge equipment 100% does know what vehicles is there. It's even an ISO standard (ISO 15118-1:2019). I understand that the providers might not want...
  9. BlueOval Charge Network expands Plug & Charge to IONNA and Ford Charge

Hopefully we can be even more excited in the (near?) future then!
  10. BlueOval Charge Network expands Plug & Charge to IONNA and Ford Charge

While I love plug and charge, and I use it when I'm doing short trips, not supporting discount memberships is really burdensome. I don't go on many long trips, but I'm going on a 2,400 mile trip soon and need to disable plug and charge so that I can use a membership to get a discount when...
  11. Inside The F-150 Lightning Factory! Full Tour Of The Ford Rouge Electric Vehicle Center

I really hope that Out of Spec can put pressure on Ford to not only talk about OTA updates but actually have them work. When I bought my used 2023 Lightning from a Ford dealer, it was still on the factory sync version with updates available for basically every module. What I would love to see...
  12. Charge Port Door Lockpin Replacement

165 miles of driving, 2 minutes repairing the pin in the parking lot, and we are back in action!
  13. Charge Port Door Lockpin Replacement

Called the one dealer in town and they have no stock of it either.
  14. Charge Port Door Lockpin Replacement

I just had the exact thing happen to me today at a car wash I normally don't use. Could only helplessly watch as the door popped open and the next set of brushes broke the pin clean off. No dealerships local to me have the part in stock and it's a week until they can get it in. Closest one is...
  15. TSB 25-2048 / 25-2105: Sync 4/4A General System Performance, Stability, and Intermittent System Reboot, etc. Post #167 updated

Thanks, I'm coming off a 2017 Chevy Bolt which guaranteed I would never go back to gas. Nice to have a vehicle that actually fits me though!
