It is kind of amusing how so many people speak expertly about them yet have never actually touched or driven one.
Like you said, usually just takes a test drive to change that quickly.
They are making a serious commitment to mobile service as well -- there may not be a service center you can drive into but there may be a mobile service center dispatch near you that can do 90% of the work.
They've certainly hit a pace that dictates they're pretty serious... very scattershot on the locations so far, but very exciting to see.
I will say little details like putting the nacs cords on the "wrong side" of the chargers feels like someone who doesn't drive an EV is running their rollout...
This happens to me too.. I just assumed I screwed up the facial calibration and it was complaining about not being able ot see my face. But maybe there's more to it? I didn't reset the calibration yet mostly just been disabling it when sitting at a light.
yes. It’s very picky. with it in the dock I was only able to get it to power up from the charging cable I use for my Xbox controller attached to the Xbox itself.
no need for it to be docked anywhere other than the car.
It's definitely allergic to apple usb-c cables, I can tell you that much.. putting them anywhere in the mix makes weird things happen. And you won't get it to power up with the coupler in any configuration but inside the truck.
The errors generally mean the coupler isn't being recognized afaik -- have you tried hooking the c4 up using only the short cable that came with it? When that worked for me I was advised to order a new long usb-c cable from amazon which resolved it for good.
Otherwise, I would advise sending...
