After updating to bp 7 while having lane centering on any time I pull up to a red light my Comma 4 goes crazy and every 3 or so seconds it gives me the prompt to keep my hands on the steering wheel and bounces back and forth until I start moving again. Is there a fix for this or should I reinstall bp 7 to clear this error

did you upgrade from 6.0? Do you have to flash/delete the comma to upgrade it to 7.0?
The recommendation is a factory reset because there is an AGNOS upgrade that comes along with it. So I just followed that. But yes, prior to that I was on bp6.

Yeah I did a factory reset and the install/upgrade was smooth but I'll run the install again wasn't sure if I missed a toggle post bp 7 😂

I've had a lot better luck now that the adhesive held

Did quite a few miles since Friday and had pretty good luck with DSv2. I agree, though- every now and again it was wanting to cross the line in turns, even when they were slower than turns it previously handled well on.

I bumped the high speed down a couple after my morning commute. I also am attempting the camera offset. It was just hugging the right a little to much for my comfort - will see how that goes. @BluesClues interested to know your thoughts if you switch
Taking this advice and driving myself around with the debug open on C4.

I only incremented 1 click at a time on my last ride so will get more aggressive with 2-3 clicks like AJzride does in the video.

I did about 360 interstate miles today after the adjustments. It's really starting to get honed in. Line crossings are much less prevalent and only happened a few times - seems more so on long curves. But, it was manageable.

Line hugging was better. I'm going to try bump the camera setting a little bit more, but that initial adjustment seemed to help some with hugging the line... maybe i'm imagining it, but it seemed better.

Does anyone use the speed sign recognition? I have it set to read the signs +5mph. It's not perfect, but kinda nice to have. I did notice if you do the push/hold to +/- the cruise in the truck by 5mph, Comma will take that as a request to set back to its setpoint instead of allowing you to increment the vehicle speed by 5. So, just adjust by 1 mph at a time

I also have the lead car predictive speed displayed - that is a really nice feature. Just a recommendation to the developers... could you put 1 or 2 second filter on the display value? It's quite dynamic.

Overall - I am loving this thing. Now my wife wants me to get one for the mustang. So now i need to read the MachE forums too!

This happens to me too.. I just assumed I screwed up the facial calibration and it was complaining about not being able ot see my face. But maybe there's more to it? I didn't reset the calibration yet mostly just been disabling it when sitting at a light.

The recommendation is a factory reset because there is an AGNOS upgrade that comes along with it. So I just followed that. After doing this That problem disapeared.

I`m to ignorant in the programing side to help. You are describing what I was dealing with, after the wipe and reinstall it went away. Maybe its a toggle that I didn't enable the second time? I stick mainly with the default settings, except I did do the tuning as AJ described.

Are you talking about a comma setting, or the setting for the truck's built in ACC? Since installing my comma a couple of weeks ago, I've followed the recommendation to leave ford's ACC in charge of longitudinal control, not the comma. I do kind of miss some of the features of comma's longitudinal control since we have it turned on in our bolt. It's nice that it recognizes stoplights for example and will stop automatically for a red light.

I use ford's speed sign recognition, also set to +5mph, and am generally pretty happy with it. The only time I have trouble with it seems to be when driving I-88 across Illinois. On that route, after ever speed limit sign there is a Busses Speed Limit sign. Speed limit is 70, but for busses it's 65. The truck sees the speed limit, speeds up to 70, then sees the bus speed limit and has an identity crisis, dropping back down to 65. It barely has time to get up to 70 before it passes that next sign and drops back down.

I had to stop using fords speed limit control. I'm not sure the cause, but many of the roads around me are 55, and the Ford control would drop me to 30mph when there were no signage nearby. The Comma speed recognition has worked decently. I have had a couple signs missed but overall I still like it.

That requires that you use comma for longitudinal control though, doesn't it? other than the speed limit recognition, do you find it to be on par with the ford ACC?

I may have turned on longitudinal control? The 4 longitudinal boxes are off in "Vehicle". I'm not seeing the setting where I did. If it is on, so far I have not had any issues

it’s a driver monitor calibration issue, or possibly even a corrupt DM model. Try switching models and recalibrating.
