Haha yep...with 2 kids in hockey both EV's are usually gone somewhere every weekend! Tks! Agreed, I am going to try to not let it sour it and just hope for no more expensive repairs!

If it's under warranty and they can't fix it, then they will be replacing it or refunding the purchase price minus a reasonable amount for 'use' under state lemon laws.

Hello, there are no states where we are in Canada and no 'lemon laws' either.

I'd be trying to push hard for some warranty or some goodwill from the seller. My truck came with a 60 day / 5000 km warranty as it was "new to me" and bought through a non-Ford dealer, which was additional to the CPO / Factory 'new car warranty,' but it looks like the OP would be SOL on that one too...

OP I also see where you are located in terms of home Province.

Perhaps your location could be part of the reason for the higher cost. It may be worth shopping around or travelling a bit to get this sorted. Just tryin' to help!

I bought it from a used car dealer. They said they have a 30 day warranty but it was around 2 months since I bought it. Your 60 day/5000km is a much better deal!

Thanks for the help! I thought about another dealer also but decided it wasn't worth it. I priced the compressor and it was only $300 cheaper at another dealer. And then I would have to tow it to another dealer and probably pay for another diagnostic fee?! The parts are ordered and should be here by the end of the week. I will update here if/when they get it fixed!
