I applied it this evening.

As usual, Ford doesn't provide proper release notes that list all the changes made.
So no idea what this does.

My last update before this was a fix to 6.2 and prior to that was 6.3.

Due to the lack of information from Ford we don’t know what this update consisted of but I feel as though they changed the power delivery, it’s much more responsive in Normal.

The truck updated when I was out and about last night. My butt dyno says something was improved with power delivery.

I also noticed that the truck front emblem lights up while updating (if you have the LED Emblem) which was awesome lol

I just did a SW update via FDRS (mainly to get the 6.3 APIM before a road trip tomorrow). The other modules that updates were PCM (along with its dependent SO modules), both door modules, and the front audio module. Have no idea which ones would be in this PU update, but that's all that was on FDRS.

I hadn’t reported yet because of all the Cybertruck hoopla, but my truck has been unable to install updates, both OTA and at the dealership. Until yesterday…. Out of nowhere it just updated to 6.2!

Now, whatever this update is, looks like it’s pending, maybe downloading….

I think they did something to the heater. All of a sudden mine is working like a champ from start-up

I doubt it’s this update? PDM and DDM are the passenger and driver door modules.

How do I even check what version I am on. I check in the truck under software updates and it says it will check overnight but never shows the version numbers or the ability to manually update. Plugged in over night or not.
