Tow/Haul, Max Tow, and Hot Weather Road Trips

Thanks for all of the responses. The consensus is that the Max Tow option provides additional cooling capacity, but the truck can handle itself, so there is no need to play around with drive modes.

And playing around with the modes doesn’t always make a difference….

Put it in tow haul about 10 mi before charging saw the temp drop from 91 to 88 with car scanner. Plugged in and picked up about 46% charge in 25min. Temp went up to 102 during the charge session. Unplugged and the gauge was showing towards the top end of the range.
