  1. Starlink Mini, Does it FIT under the sunroof privacy shade?

I don’t have Starlink myself. We had the original full size for field ops at my last gig.
  2. Uhhh, seems a bit fast for the neighborhood... (80 in a 35???)

Doesn’t matter. This is really a solution looking for a problem. 1 -You have to keep your eyes looking forward anyway. 2 - There’s no chance that you’re not going to have to make adjustments due to traffic 3 - Whatever incremental improvements they made will not obviate the stupidity of...
  3. Uhhh, seems a bit fast for the neighborhood... (80 in a 35???)

Saw this a lot before turning the feature off forever. It catches number from any sign that has roughly the same format as a speed limit sign. That wasn’t the reason I turned it off though. I turned it off because of the violence with which it would decelerase from a higher speed limit to a...
  4. Preferred charging times ignored

Happens to me every time I get an update. The times are there but being ignored. Checksums don't add up. Delete them and re-enter. Works fine after that.
  5. Canadian Tesla Charging Problem

You gotta call them. Sounds dumb but my initial thought is that it's like a DVD player - it might be a region thing. I wonder if the opposite is true - have any Canadians had problems on just American superchargers.

Well we know from recent events that Ford walked 350 software engineers. so it's pretty obvious if it was low hanging fruit it could have been done already, but it isn't and there's larger issues that need to be solved and maybe the solution did lie in that personnel turnover.
  13. Inside EV‘s China auto show-we are toast!

Oh sweet Jesus... just use the Tesla app. This is so unbelievably backburner yet the desire to harp on it.... Clearly the Tesla database (and all the other vendors that are getting into the game i.e. WalMart and all the gas retailers) is changing too quickly for it to be worth it for Ford to...
  14. Inside EV‘s China auto show-we are toast!

WHAT Because I take into consideration the entirety of the historical events and causalities therein that I am not taking recent events into consideration, or have an anachronistic worldview? Because it doesn't align with your off-the-shelf PnP version? Bull effin ssshhhhhheeeeiiitittt...
  15. Inside EV‘s China auto show-we are toast!

Every article and newsfeed and world event for the last 80 years. Your screen name seems thoroughly appropriate. Have you not been paying attention to anything that's happened since WWII?

  18. Inside EV‘s China auto show-we are toast!

A STEM PhD from China only has value in China. It's a meaningless scrap of paper everywhere else. They do not allow for the rigor of the academic process. They publish high volumes of papers of dubious value in the sciences. It looks like they're doing a lot but are they? People need to get it...
