I was wondering if some of our Canadian (or US) friends might have some suggestions about what’s going on. I’ve traveled over 10,000 miles using Tesla Superchargers in the US and there has never been a glitch. I have a subscription. I recently tried charging at the Sidney BC Tesla Supercharger and I get nothing but faults. I tried 5 different chargers (starting the sessions with the app), 2 different adaptors, tried Plug and Charge several times and nothing works. All connections are secure. Just faults after a minute or so. Usually when I use the Tesla app, a few seconds after I plug in, it says “initializing”. It doesn’t do that here. It never gets past the attach the charger screen. It appears like it doesn’t recognize the VIN or something. Tesla’s are charging here without problem. Everything I read online suggests there is no difference between US and Canadian Superchargers. What am I missing here?

You gotta call them. Sounds dumb but my initial thought is that it's like a DVD player - it might be a region thing.

I wonder if the opposite is true - have any Canadians had problems on just American superchargers.

There are some Tesla Charging stations that are not open to other vehicles - a town near to me has 'tesla only' even though four other towns and a near-by City all have Tesla chargers that are open to Ford (and other makes).
Not sure what the deal is with these Tesla only stations.
I figured out how to spot them - they don't show up on the Ford app, only on the Tesla App.
On Plugshare for this site it shows "This Supercharger is not open to NACS enable vehicles with CCS compatibility" - not sure why.

Maybe the SC in Sidney is like these...typed Sidney BC into my Plugshare - says compatible with adapter...not sure why it didn't work for you.
