I went that route when I bought the MX4 for my 19 silverado. $750 from that dude. Great price!
Not sure I'd go with the MX4 again. I do like the Retrax/Yakima combo, but it is $$$. Might wait a while before going with a cover again, but will have to wait and see, it could be 6 mos before I have...
To be honest, I've been looking at a lot of tires and didn't even consider those. They look really good from both a sidewall and tread pattern and have really great reviews. They remind me a little of the Goodyear Trailrunner ATs I had on my 19 Silverado before I sold it. I will add these for...
My recently sold 2019 Silverado came with four TPMS sensors to install in a trailer and they synced back to the infotainment system. I am surprised Ford doesn't do the same.
To add to this, I can rarely go more than 3-4 hours without needed a break anyway, stretch, restroom, etc. Being on the East Coast, don't think I'm that worried about needing those extra 6 gallons of gas with the EB. I could always just toss in a 5 gal gas can if I was that worried.
Totally geeking out on this thread. :)
Question... when going to larger size tires, what do you do about the spare ?
1. Get a 5th tire of the same exact type/size/model/etc like the new four so all five match ?
2. Or get a cheaper tire in the new larger size like the new four so if needed...
I'm looking at my decision based on if we ever plan to use a generator for boondocking or home power outages. Since we do, then the hybrid PB is the way to go as we'll get half the payload back from not having to load up a 100lb genny, nor service it, nor deal with having to keep filling it up...
I would stay away from max tow package. It will eat your payload which will be your biggest issue with that travel trailer. Find some TT forums and find out what the actual tongue weight is from current owners. We're looking at the Grand Design 2250rk, which is 5500/7500 and there are a few...
This is a great thread! I am leaning towards getting a XLT 302a Powerboost 7.2kw along with a Grand Design 2250rk, which is 5500 UVW and 7500 GVWR. Seems like they will pair well both on and off grid.
