Ha! I just posted the same question on the Granger wave1 thread. My dealer said I'd get the email tomorrow, the 6th.

Has anyone actually received the email from Ford that they are in the first wave and can submit an order? In a couple of places, Ford has said wave 1 emails have already been sent. I haven't seen any mention here of anyone receiving them. I've been told by my dealer that I'm in wave 1 and will...

@greenne Sorry. There are two versions that were released today. The first was 2468 pages! We're on page 1868 of that version and on page 1240 of the shorter version as you pointed out.

The good stuff starts on page 1868. (Edit: oops, sorry . That's pg 1868 of the full, 2468 page version.) There's also lots of verbiage about incentives for public charging equipment.

Changing the subject slightly, sorry. What is it about the "Max Tow" package that is different between the SR and ER that results in the different tow capacity, 7700# and 10,000# respectively. IOW, why wouldn't the Max Tow package on the SR also be good for 10K? Thanks.

@BennyTheBeaver Do you know for sure that the plug on the Mobile Charger is an L14-30?

My house is set up to use a portable generator to feed an "emergency" panel with essential circuits. I could use that 240V outlet in the bed to power my house through the existing system. My generator is only 5kW and does the job fine. The 9.7 kW from the truck would do it better.

What plug is on the 240V adapter of the 32A Mobile Charger? If the plugs are compatible, I'm thinking we could pull up beside another Lightning like we jump start the neighbors dead battery today and let them grab a charge using their Mobile Charger plugged into our 240V outlet in the bed.

Any idea what NEMA plug they are using in the bed? 14-30 perhaps? Locking?
