I’m kind of amazed at how many chargers have popped up since I traded off my 2022 lightning. It’s been under a year, but it’s staggering. Then, add all the Tesla chargers that are available, which I usually see vacant, and it seems to really Take hold of the rain, anxiety and throw it out the...
OMG! Look at all the love!
I’m close to pulling the trigger. I really wish I could swing a Lariat, but a Flash may be in my future. In fact, my son might do the same. We just have to figure out charging arrangements. Thanks for all the replies. I always say, my 2022 Lightning was the best...
Let’s be truthful. No BS, no sugar. Would you buy another?
I ask because I still maintain my 2022 Lightning was the best Ford truck I can remember in 40 years. Solid. Yes, teething, but it was new technology. I had issues, but the biggest was range. The standard just didn’t cut it for me...
Don’t worry guys. ? I figured it out.
After spending 45 minutes on the phone with Ford, I found out none of you have the trip planner with the new Ford Pass update. It’s only on the Truck’s screen. I would have thought someone would have told me that at least.
I guess Ford is working on the...
What am I missing here? What is this providing me that I didn’t already have? Is this because the new Ford Pass sucks and they are trying to go back in time? With my 2022 Lightning with the original app, I pulled in, it recognized my truck by VIN (participating vendors) and charged and billed...
So I’ve read on Ford’s site that with the Pro Charger, on an 80amp circuit, it can charge a Lightning with an extended range battery at 30 miles per hour. But then, today, another ford site, I read 20. What is it?
My Ford Connected Charger with my 2022 standard range would charge as high as...
They just gave DEALERS incentives. Sell 1-9, get $1,000 each. Sell 1-15, get $1,500. Sell 15, get $22,500. The DEALER gets it, not the buyer… unless they chose to use that to sweeten a deal. Good 10/15 through 11/15. Have to take trucks from the distribution centers.
Illinois has 0% for 66 months with $2,000 credit if you don’t take the charger offer. I have a $2,500 PCO on top. Looking hard a 2024 Flash. Now that Ford has a storage yard in Chicago with tons of stock pre-built, I can have exactly what I want in little as 5 days.
Im not putting faith in...
So I’m seriously considering another Lightning. This time an ER. Likely a Flash. I don’t really need the charger promotion, and would rather take the $2,000 credit. BUT, should I get a Ford Charger? I had the Ford Connected with my SR Lariat, and it did integrate nice with FordPass (then)...
I just got a $2,500 PCO. Now I’m looking at an ER Lightning. It goes through January 2, 2025, so I gave time. I’d like to know how long the 0% for 66 months Flex goes for with the additional $2000.
I traded out of my SR because I had some personal duties with family that the SR couldn’t...
Don’t get excited. I have an STX. It’s bare bones for the app. The old version was 10x better. You can’t check tire pressure in the truck on the dash while moving, but can from the app. Such a great design. You’ll know when the tires flat, though.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand the base price for each vehicle just went up $3,000. Nothing is free. Ford is just whispering sweet nothings in our ears, while slipping the shmeat….
I just sold my Ford Connected Charger. I would hope I could choose the Connected over the Pro when I buy my next Lightning...
Don’t hold your breath. I sold my Lightning and got an STX. The 10-speed is a buggy piece of crap they’ve had for YEARS, and STILL can’t fix the poor shifting. My Lightning had a few flaws, but it was an early build. Updates came like kids to an ice cream truck. They did something. I get...
When I was waiting for my turn to order my 2022 Lightning, I would regularly jump
On FordPass to compare trips, expected battery usage, and charging locations, to the routes I used for my ICE Ford. It helped me when I finally got my Lightning, because I kind of pre-planned my routes, and...
