Just an update to close this out. Dealer was finally able to install the replacement latch hardware part yesterday. Seems to be functioning as designed now.

I would not call 7-8kWh / day a "slight draw". That's what we've observed leaving sentry mode on while away from the house. Recent updates claim to have cut this down some, but we haven't re-checked it. Keeping most of the car on just to process and store images is very silly and wasteful....

Could be a coincidence, two does not really scream pattern.... Did you try a clear cache before uninstall? Apparently it's the clear storage that will bork your phone as a key data...
