Same. I am a former professional detailer and my glass is always very clean. This problem still occurred. And it hadn't occurred before. I'm hoping with the 12V reset it stays solved, but we'll see.
Just an update:
I ended up doing a 12V reset and addition to fixing glitch android auto connectivity, this issue hasn't occurred again and scan tool analysis shows it does seem o be activating the compressor properly. Fingers crossed it was just a software bug! ?
Yeah I did a full system scan of the ACCM and didn't find any codes or function faults. So I just did a 12V reset. If I'm still having issues after I do some more testing, I'll have to schedule something with my dealer.
See I'd think that, were I not still running 4.1.3 (March/April 2023 update). I mean I could reconnect and force an update, but it doesn't make sense to me why it'd suddenly stop working right, despite no change in software...
Well in that instance, even max defrost didn't seem to clear the fog or activate the compressor. But also, I just find it odd that I've never had this issue before and it's suddenly started happening in identical conditions to previous winters.
Well in my case, I always have the AC switch turned on, but it was obvious due to the fogging up and confirmed by a scan tool that the compressor wasn't coming on. But yes, in the past, I always left the AC switch on even when running heat, to keep the cabin dehumidified.
No, reciriculate was off and I almost never have it on. I also periodically check because I know sometimes the HVAC system will automatically turn it on.
So long story short I'm having an issue I've never had before in my two years of ownership. I pulled out of my heated garage and left my house and like always had my temp set to around 73, vents set to face and floor and the AC switch set to on. I just had a few local errands to run, but after...

While I by no means am perfect with regards to how I charge and drive my truck, this data does offer me good reassurance that my general...
I don't remember the exact fluid level as the protocol is just to fill until it just barely runs out of the fill, like a standard differential service. But I know it was several quarts. I want to say the filters were like 80 something each?
I didn't feel it was necessary to do the full...
I already did a preemptive fluid change at around 10K miles, just to clear out any break in particles. I'm waiting to do filters though, until maybe 30K. I have the new filters though. They're not cheap!
Same, I love my Ice Blue Lightning and while I'm glad I was able to get it in 22, but it's still insane that Ford just keeps whittling away at the available color options for their prized electric truck. Pretty soon we're gonna reach Model T levels of color selection. ("You can have any color...
Okay that's pretty cool, finally a way to add back a feature that should have never been deleted. One question though: You mention having to swap out the footwell and cupholder lights, but what about the lights on the door panels front and rear? Are those already multi-color LEDs or is there...
2023s are not immune from the issue and the CSP doesn't actually fix anything. It simply updates the BMS firmware to be more sensitive in the parameters it uses to monitor battery balance and health and to allow the vehicle to still be drivable if an issue is detected.
