That's almost certainly including the mirrors. The Lightning including the mirrors is 96 inches wide. Without the mirrors, the Lightning is 80 inches wide. This thing hardly seems particularly wide.
Currently at the dealership waiting on my truck, brought it in just for the lightbar and figured I'd ask them to replace the 12V BMS while they're at it. I told them explicitly, no updates and no other recalls. Fingers crossed they don't break any clips. ?
And as someone with connections to those from and working directly in China, the news you read, rarely reflects the reality on the ground. The stories of Chinese EVs having abysmal quality control and battery safety are not just anti-china smears. They have innovated immensely, but often at...
Oh really? I didn't even know there was a CSP for the front sensor. Mine have always worked fine. I'm gonna get the rear lightbar and 12V bms taken care of for now (I'm more than capable of changing out the 12V BMS myself, but I figure if I'm in there anyway, I might as well have them do it...
Damn...I have been waiting until I got back from my cross country road trip to get all my recall work done. Im finally back, but this thread just makes me want to wait even longer. My truck is still running 4.1.3 and has been problem free (or at least any problem that I couldn't solve with a...
Yeah I actually did this already around 11K, just as a precaution to remove break-in wear particles from the fluid, now I'm confident I can go to 100K before needing another fluid flush.
The twist on filters are also easily purchased at the dealer. Expensive for what they are, though.
I mean technically that's not accurate as there's nothing physically connecting the "shifter" to the drive motors and the parking pawl. Those are all electronically actuated so if there was some sort of error or fault in the module that communicates with the drive units or parking pawl...
Agreed. The FCSP is honestly kinda a nightmare. I bought my truck "used" (400 miles on it) in 2022. At the time, I was lamenting not getting the FCSP, but the more I learned about it, the less I felt like I was missing out. I have had an Autel unit since day one and it's been great. 80A...
After an inordinate amount of time, I am finally back with part two of my trip. It's quite behind on my travels as I'm already 2/3rds the way home, but I'm gonna try to do better to keep a better schedule with editing and publishing the videos.
Here's part two:
As someone who is making my way back east on a cross country roadtrip while towing a teardrop trailer, this is absolutely terrible idea and would add needless hours to my trip and at least an hour every travel day.
I have enough of a challenge finding chargers in Montana, now you're suggesting...
Update 3:
Sorry for the delay, guys! My friends have several kids, so between helping them take care of some household projects and care for their numerous farm animals and entertaining their kids, I actually haven't had too many opportunities to leave their property! But I finally have had...
