  1. Electric company drives a Lightning. Go figure.

SCE has always been pretty progressive with the EVs. Prius Plug in, Ford Fusion Hybrid, Bolts, Volts, Model 3s, Lightnings and Silverados.
  2. Electric company drives a Lightning. Go figure.

Its a really nice place to sit in the air conditioning and eat a sandwich. Utilities have them here in addition to CalTrans so they can watch the freeway projects to ensure nothing is accidentally getting worked on.
  3. NHTSA Recall - Loss of Steering from Front Control Arm Separation (Impacting certain 2023 to 2024 builds)

Do none of you "truck people" own a torque wrench? Set it to 45ft-lbs and go find out. If its loose, make an appointment at the dealer. If its missing... make an appointment at the dealer.
  4. Charging error (All 5 segments turn RED) HVB Module failure

BECM is the Battery Energy Control Module. Either it died of unnatural causes, or it got turned into a paperweight doing the software update from the CSP (oh no, an acronym! Customer Satisfaction Program). Either way... not ideal, but not terrible.
  5. Tire replacement @ what mileage?

Got my Hankook Dynapro A/Ts down to Hankook Slicks in 20k miles. But they were a fun 20k.
  6. Hankook Dynapro AT2 hydroplaning

I found them more as a Summer All Terrain sports tire.
  7. New record!

Tesla so efficient it made 1.4kW over the 10 miles. :inspect: :poop: I know I need to clean my screen. Don't judge.
  8. Statement by Honda CEO

Think of astronomical reduction of Dealer Warranty Charges back to Ford Motor Company when the process is as simple as an oil change instead of a $7000 ordeal involving coolant, multiple techs, specialized lifts, rental vehicles, appeasments....

  10. Initial range after charge well below advertised range- 2025 Flash

You're not getting 320 miles mostly highway unless you stay under 50mph. At 70 AVG, you should be good for around 240 miles - thats from 100% to 10%.
  11. Universal Air Ride “White Lightning”…

    NOW WE'RE TALKING!!! Looks SWEEET!
  12. Class Action Lawsuit - Home Integration System

It should not even be a consideration IMO. You'll have better luck winning on lottery scratchers than getting that hunk of shit to work reliably. And when it doesn't work, the customer support is non existent.
  13. Statement by Honda CEO

Lots of us with multiple replacements helping to drive the number up. I was at 3 modules replaced (3 separate times) in the first 20k miles. Ford should partner with Dewalt or Milwaukee or Ryobi to make it so you can just pop out the bricked module in under an hour.
  14. Lightning retakes EV pickup sales crown from Cybertruck (for both March and Q1 2025)

So is a 2024 F150 Lightning Platinum trim... What's your point? A 2022 Platinum with 20k can be had under 50k. Got a link to one? I can't find one under $86k https://www.carfax.com/Used-Tesla-Cybertruck-Cyberbeast_t16135
  15. SYNC-25.2.1.6.5: Walk Away Lock Clean-up

For the price of a set of wipers or a cabin air filter, you can maintain and customize your $40-$90k vehicle. Each person has different priorities.
  16. Edit phone favorites on Sync

Android Auto just mirrors what's on your phone. So if you have the favorites on your phone, they should be mirrored over onto the Android Auto phone tab. If none of your contacts are favorites, then that might explain whats happening...? Do you have a screenshot of the favorites from your phone...
  17. Edit phone favorites on Sync

Sync is the "software" that Ford uses for their infotainment. That's what you see for the 30 seconds while your truck is connecting to Android Auto or Apple Carplay. IF you don't have a phone thats pre-2010, you'd likely be best suited to pair them and avoid using the built in "software". Then...
  18. RAM charger delayed again for extended quality validation

In fairness... every one of these assholes has promised an affordable vehicle, and they either got pulled out from under everyone, or were basically unobtainable (Ford's 2022 Lightning PRO). Starting price basically means bullshit price these days. This isn't a dig at you, but not one of...
  19. Lightning retakes EV pickup sales crown from Cybertruck (for both March and Q1 2025)

There were crazy incentives out by Ford in March... people were snagging Platinums w/ no money down at around $520/mo on 3 year leases. With all the combined dealer cash + bonus pricing, they were dropping ~$25k off the sticker price. Don't think Tesla's done that yet...
