Its a really nice place to sit in the air conditioning and eat a sandwich. Utilities have them here in addition to CalTrans so they can watch the freeway projects to ensure nothing is accidentally getting worked on.
Do none of you "truck people" own a torque wrench? Set it to 45ft-lbs and go find out.
If its loose, make an appointment at the dealer. If its missing... make an appointment at the dealer.
BECM is the Battery Energy Control Module. Either it died of unnatural causes, or it got turned into a paperweight doing the software update from the CSP (oh no, an acronym! Customer Satisfaction Program).
Either way... not ideal, but not terrible.
Think of astronomical reduction of Dealer Warranty Charges back to Ford Motor Company when the process is as simple as an oil change instead of a $7000 ordeal involving coolant, multiple techs, specialized lifts, rental vehicles, appeasments....
It should not even be a consideration IMO. You'll have better luck winning on lottery scratchers than getting that hunk of shit to work reliably. And when it doesn't work, the customer support is non existent.

Android Auto just mirrors what's on your phone. So if you have the favorites on your phone, they should be mirrored over onto the Android Auto phone tab. If none of your contacts are favorites, then that might explain whats happening...?
Do you have a screenshot of the favorites from your phone...
Sync is the "software" that Ford uses for their infotainment. That's what you see for the 30 seconds while your truck is connecting to Android Auto or Apple Carplay. IF you don't have a phone thats pre-2010, you'd likely be best suited to pair them and avoid using the built in "software". Then...
In fairness... every one of these assholes has promised an affordable vehicle, and they either got pulled out from under everyone, or were basically unobtainable (Ford's 2022 Lightning PRO).
Starting price basically means bullshit price these days.
This isn't a dig at you, but not one of...
There were crazy incentives out by Ford in March... people were snagging Platinums w/ no money down at around $520/mo on 3 year leases. With all the combined dealer cash + bonus pricing, they were dropping ~$25k off the sticker price. Don't think Tesla's done that yet...
