Outside of the obvious, does anyone have any idea what else has gone totally electric on the new Lightning compared to the ICE or Hybrid F150.

Ford should’ve made it so it can be plugged in from either side instead of putting a fake plug on the other side.

I’m sure it could be installed over the Tailgate Work Surface just like it’s installed on the regular tailgate. It’s attached by Velcro Tape but the surface where the tape attaches should be prepped in the same way when one already has a spray in bed liner.

These days, many people don’t remember, don’t care, or never heard of the original “F150 Lightning“ but everyone knows that Lightning is electricity ⚡ in it’s purest form and when the advertising starts, it’ll become very clear why Ford chose the name.

I’m sure people are already wondering if the tail lights can be swapped onto a regular 14th generation F150.

Lol..........You’re looking for features that are available on an aftermarket head unit or DSP. OEM head units don’t come with these features regardless of the name on the premium sound system. With that being said, the reason those features are not in an OEM system is because manufacturers...

You’re forgetting that the body is aluminum not steel. Also, you’re thinking about vehicles from the past and how they used to be built. With that being said, the OEM liners are not covering anything that wouldn’t be exposed to “surface rust“ without the liners.
