It's listed on the software update screen. Mine is "Ford Power update 4.2.2.2"
I can send you a photo if that helps. I've been on that version for well over a year and when this thread went quiet I started to think I might be last in line. Turns out I'm (still) in good company.
Same, although I called them about it at the end of June and they told me it would be September verbally despite the site saying July. So Ford already knew at least a month ago.
FWIW, I hopped on Chat with Ford and after being pointed to the order status page online and me saying 'yes but...' a few times they indicated that September is the new June.
Like most of us, the delays do not bother me nearly as much as the lack of communication.
FWIW, this group has helped me with VIN lookups in the past and the folks here are awesome.
My point was more about the run around from Ford AND that this information should be readily available to ANY customer, not just those who pay for the FDRS subscription. I work in IT and in my world...
Still on 4.2.2.2, been over a year since that update. I called the Ford OTA helpline and the guy told me he could not see any activity ever having happened on my truck (no records whatsoever) and I should get to the dealer. Dealer showed me his printout with modules being updated and could not...
Just had mine replaced. The part alone was $2400. Apparently the electronics is so integrated you cannot just but the lens. Or at least that's what happens when the body shop knows insurance is paying.
Sorry, that's probably not helpful.
Same thing happened to me (passenger side rear). Failure was intermittent and mostly went away as the dealer had a decent lead time on ordering parts. My guess is that condensation was causing a short and when it dried out it was OK for a while. They did replace it under warranty.
MY23 Lariat ER.
I've been on 4.2.2.2 / PU0306-BCF-DET since July or August. Called Ford and they said I have no pending updates. Went in for Warranty work and had them check. Dealer said the same.
I assume they are just holding us here for now...
I have only used it with EA but never had a problem. I even had a situation where the Blue Oval / EA Plug and Charge allowed me to charge when the payment system was failing for folks using the EA app.
I probably only use paid chargers about once a month.
I agree that this CSP is minor. I slotted it in with other issues and would not have worried about it otherwise. That said, it's a bad sign that the dealer is unwilling to put in the shop time to get it taken care of before it leaves the lot. If you have another dealer nearby that has better...
Found a nearby dealer that was able to get me in. They did the lightbar, dashmat, and BECM, parts for the heated steering wheel are backordered. Took two days but I can live with that. Now my ford dash no longer shows the dashmat or lightbar, but BECM ( 23B57 ) is still there and there is a new...
