  1. OTA Software Update 10.3.0 - Powertrain, Battery, Parking Brake

The Bluetooth change is from a firmware update of the FCSP a couple months ago, not the 10.3 software. I did not have to redo mine in 10.3 but mine was already set to FordChargeStaionPro1 from when I reset it back in March/April. That being said I think there is something in this update...
  2. Sigenergy (PointGuard) Home system with generator input (Pro Power Onboard).

I purchased the equipment through Sunrgy which is local for me. I was able to pick it up with the truck. Let me know if you need a specific contact for them.
  3. OTA Software Update 10.3.0 - Powertrain, Battery, Parking Brake

I would turn the truck on for like 6 hours to let it charge the LVB battery. I assume you got the sensor recall done already long ago? The truck only charges the LVB when it is on, or is actively charging the HVB. i had good success on the past just leaving it on for hours and hours with the...
  4. OTA Software Update 10.3.0 - Powertrain, Battery, Parking Brake

Before resetting everything, I would verify that the app is actually getting proper updates from the truck (or that the truck is updating the cloud server properly). I would turn the truck on, and make sure the appropriate icons (usually wifi symbol and up/down arrow symbol) are on then just...
  5. OTA Software Update 10.3.0 - Powertrain, Battery, Parking Brake

Was your charge cable plugged in when the update occurred? I didn’t lose any settings but I did the update manually before I plugged in to charge.
  6. Franklin battery system, V2L, via bed 240, same old ground fault issue, it would seem. Need help...

The main issue is that this is a hybrid battery/solar inverter and associated automatic transfer switch. There is no option for a switching neutral transfer. They are always going to be using the home's bonded neutral. The generator is feeding the transfer switch and battery inverter and...
  7. Franklin battery system, V2L, via bed 240, same old ground fault issue, it would seem. Need help...

I did mine as shown in the marked up picture. I simply removed the ground wire jumper (circled in yellow) from the socket. I still left the other jumper that connects the front plate to the box. I then connected the home ground to the box ground (marked in green with arrow). This allows the...
  8. Franklin battery system, V2L, via bed 240, same old ground fault issue, it would seem. Need help...

I think on the Reliance PB50, the ground it on the outside shell of the connector rather than a pin. You can see it in the picture. I would check that the cable has that ground connection (which I am sure it does if it trips). I still maintain that it is likely that the ground wire shown in...
  9. Sigenergy (PointGuard) Home system with generator input (Pro Power Onboard).

Not sure where you are getting that price from. It is not cheap, but it is way less than that amount. $6300 would get you all of the PointGuard components + V2X module. That would get you a whole home backup system. The PG load hub is like having a 6 port SPAN panel as well as the 200A auto...
  10. Sigenergy (PointGuard) Home system with generator input (Pro Power Onboard).

The PointGuard components were just shy of $10k most of which is the batteries. The backup panel, extra breakers, generator inlet components and wire/conduit added about $1k more. It was DIY so no labor cost. I will get $3k back from the federal tax credit, and am also on a time of use plan...
  11. Sigenergy (PointGuard) Home system with generator input (Pro Power Onboard).

This system would be a competitor to the Tesla powerwall. There would be no way to use any existing components if you already have a Powerwall.
  12. Franklin battery system, V2L, via bed 240, same old ground fault issue, it would seem. Need help...

This is happening because both the truck and house are neutral bonded systems. I reviewed with my electrician and removed the jumper ground wire from the inlet plug in the Reliance box. The box itself is grounded to the house system, but the inlet plug has no direct ground connection to the...
  13. Sigenergy (PointGuard) Home system with generator input (Pro Power Onboard).

PointGuard can do exactly what you are asking if you use their V2X module as well. It is a DC (yes that is correct... DC) home charger solution. It can charge your vehicle or be used to pull energy from the truck as desired. You are somewhat limited to the inverters 11.4 kW rating for AC...
  14. Sigenergy (PointGuard) Home system with generator input (Pro Power Onboard).

Today I had a successful test of using the generator input of my PointGuard Home battery system with the Lightnings Pro Power Onboard (7.2 kW 240V outlet). For reference I have been testing a couple systems. I have the original Ford / Sunrun HIS (which worked for me), and have switched to the...
  15. Having issues with CarPlay not able to send audio to 22’ Lariat.

This is exactly what I do, and is the fastest and easiest way to solve the issue.
  16. 2.6 mi/kWh?

The original post is not about all time efficiency or comparing what you get for individual trip efficiency. The whole point of the post is that the lightning driver display is not capable of displaying a trip efficiency of 2.6 miles/kWh. It will bounce between 2.5 and 2.7 but will never ever...
  17. 2.6 mi/kWh?

I have noticed the same. Never displays 2.6 and I am over 50k miles now.
  18. I'm still tripping-137,150 miles later.

Some automatic transfer switches have generator inputs now where you can easily add them in to charge your batteries. I believe SolArk, PointGuard, maybe EP Cube and others. It may be possible to add some components to your existing system to make it more robust and functional.
  19. I'm still tripping-137,150 miles later.

I don't think people realize how much this battery is worth, even just as a stationary home battery. I would be buying a $17k 130 kWh battery in a heartbeat. If someone can figure out a way to get them out of the car and repackage them where at least they work with the upcoming vehicle to home...
