I spent 30 years at CPQ,DEC,HP so I'm more than comfortable with software issues and support, I understand when $100 software has email or user forums for support, but we all paid $70-$90k for our truck. software support shouldn't be subbed out. But yet, here we are.

really nice of Ford to confuse everyone. if it were not for this forum we'd be lost. FORD should be paying us money for supporting their products.

your forgetting the cybertruck was announced at $50k and came out at $80k. annoucements about price for either one happened before inflation skyrocketed for a couple years. something that was not predicted (but should have been)

I'm nearing my 70th and have owned too many vehicles to count. 20 years ago I had to get practicle and gave up the last of my 3 Corvettes. Not new to Ford but I've owned a Chevy Silverado and an Chevy Avalanche until the Lightning..... I gotta say it's more fun to drive than any of my three...

re: 23B70 battery module replacement, I've been waiting for part since mid January. they keep telling the dealer it's on nationwide backorder.

got 6.4 today. no explanation as to what it contained, but I do show the Tesla chargers. no other changes as far as I could tell.

I wasn't trying to highlight another negative EV story. Just the opposite: the point was that Ford was doing quite well compared to others and it's EV sales were doing much better than ICE vehicles.
