Is there a time on Monday the stream is planned for? I also would like to avoid creating additional online accounts when it can be avoided. Iām hoping one of the many EV YouTube channels covers it.
Mine is still in its original box. The cost to wire it in far exceeds just charging from my existing 50A outlet with the mobile charger. 35k miles and a few cracks later an ye olde trusty mobile charger still running as we speak.
Update: My yellow wrench was for a failed coolant diverter valve first seen in May and has showed up every time the truck runs. Took it to the dealer a month ago, they had to back order the part so I kept driving. Part came in, service team was honest that this was their first ev repair of this...

Ford had announced their bronco sport esque ev in china, so I wouldnāt be shocked if this is a family of EVs based off that platform just like GM with ultium. Think bronco sport, maverick, maybe something else like explorer? I have to imagine it will be unibody, low cost, and trying to stay on...
For me, iOS 26 hasnāt been an issue since the first beta but when Ford asked me to update my PaaK through the app, thatās when I started having issues. Iām also on the ford pass beta. I sent them feedback a couple weeks back with notes on what was happening so hopefully it gets addressed down...
I forget the exact brand but itās ceramic which is the most important aspect. I ended up doing 25% front windows, 15% back and rear, 50% moon roof, and 70% windshield.
You donāt need to go dark to enjoy the benefits either, you can do clear if required by law.
Iāll offer this as a tip from someone whoās now operated his lightning in the Mojave desert and Florida: tint your windows. Tinting helps so much in rejecting IR energy that it makes your AC that much more āeffectiveā. Iāve been driving in 115-120F temps and still had my truck holding 70F...
I will add that I just left the high desert and I still pulled 165kW to start and at the 10min mark was usually around 90-100kW when I DCFCād. Temps were 100-110F. I usually had high batt temps like yours once I was driving but when I would leave my garage in the am it would be centered. Granted...
Took my truck into the Dealership today for getting this issue: It was a bad Coolant Diverter. Apparently, the truck also has a code for Air Dam Failure because I must have hit something while driving off-road in the desert. I need to take a look, I can't think of many instances where I was...
Bluecruise 1.4 is nice but it's not perfect. I just finished a 2,400 mile trip and I sent plenty of feedback to Ford regarding things they need to work on:
Signal to change lanes sits for a second or two before going and I found that led to confusion with other drivers on multiple occasions...
Interesting, I definitely have a Tesla one then. Itās the big clunker on the left. I tried multiple times on this trip and each time the A2Z performed better than my ford one. I canāt imagine why.
I had the free one then replaced it during the ford adapter recall. No idea who manufactured it but itās the first gen. Got it from ford last June or so.
Iāve probably crossed 50 fast charges since I got the truck. It is pretty easy these days, and I feel like Iāve seen a huge improvement over the two and a half years Iāve had the lightning. On my current 2,500 mile trip I basically just plug the ABRP route into google maps and it just works. No...
