These guys:
Referenced these new tires: https://erangetires.com/#tirefinder
Doesn't have a size for the Lightning, but did fine there was an 18" coming soon, perhaps... Maybe something to keep an eye on...
Not sure yet, above are what I've found so far. Ya, would be a whole extra set of aftermarket 18".
Without actual LRR ratings I'm judging them by their warranty I guess. Not sure there is a lot of demand for LRR truck tires quite yet... Maybe I'll just resort to 4 donut spares, lol... ;)
This new video seems applicable:
For example, one of my possible use cases could be doing 2000 mile one way road trips with some hardware stashed under a tonneau cover. So in that situation, maximizing range could be very advantage and and change elapsed time by hours potentially...
I too have: Converted a 05 Prius to PHEV-10MI, had an OEM Prius PHEV-12Mi, wife has a Pacifica Hybrid PHEV-33Mi now. I've had 2 Leaf and a Bolt.
This is all just thought exercise at this point. I'm getting some descent OE AT tires, but expect they will wear out pretty quickly. Would rather...
Given the above hypothesis that smaller wheels(rims) yield better mileage:
The Lightning Pro comes with 18" OEM wheels (So a set of that size for the Lariat ER could be):
$224 - NOKIAN TIRE - ONE HT - 275 /65 R18 116H SL BSW - 39Lbs 70k 13" 51psi 116 130MPH...
Auhh, this takes me back, once upon a time I found some left over new stock GM EV1 OEM tires that I installed as my second set on my 2000 Honda Insight. They were definitely LRR and were self sealing which came in handy, Great ride, and better mileage than the original by about 10+% though...
Really good question. I kept trying to enter my Ford order number into sunrun, but it always returned something like "not found". I think once it got built, then it finally went through and I did the inquiry for contact back to do an install. I have heard absolutely nothing from sunrun...
That's interesting. It makes me wonder if/which OBDII dataloggers folks have been using with their lightning? Can anyone point me the the appropriate thread(s) for that topic?
Maybe playing a quarterly deliveries game push like Tesla does and this is pre-logistics so they are left with a greater quantity of more local customers. Since those brand new builds can be delivered to regional within a week and local with days? So are pushing all the longest shipping targets...
Drat...
sigh, That didn't look fun to track the rail stuff, but might be forced to resort to taking a closer look at that. Any ProTips to share about the process?
Are we all absolutely positive that the new federal tax incentive will not apply to the Lightning? Are are those rebates simply still in limbo and no one really knows yet if they will be applicable or not?
I'm frankly hoping that if shipped by truck yesterday that it will not take 3 weeks to...
Not sure exactly which part that is, Top of sticker reads:
NVM, Found: https://www.f150lightningforum.com/forum/threads/lightning-order-decoding-tracing-guide.10224/
Actually, still not sure, but I think it's in here:

Anyone have any ideas on how to...
Is there any way to track the progress of the shipping? I enabled the FordPass perhaps a day or two too late for some random kind transporter person to perhaps tap on the in-vehicle confirmation prompt. Had that been activated, then perhaps the vehicle could have tracked it's own location? Is...
Just Joined the forum: Am really hoping for delivery a little earlier than estimated, as I'll be out of town Dec 16th Till Jan 4th. Really do not want to need to resort to overnighting my paperwork.
