There was an air fryer / frunk thread around here in the past two weeks... I'm thinking on getting an air fryer for camping after reading it. Can't remember the thread but I'm sure a search will pull it up.
Yes I completely understand. My TOU has low rates 10 p.m. - 1 a.m., then super low rates 1 a.m. to 5 a.m., and again low rate 5 a.m. to 6 a.m.
I find that about 7 hours, centered between about 11 p.m. and 5 a.m., pretty much fills my truck up.
Then, I have DEPARTURE PRECONDITIONING set for...
Initially, as our house had a 40-amp Grizzl-E EV "spout" I had refused to even request the FCPS, free for me as a new owner of a leftover 2023 XLT ER.
Once I lived with this truck I realized just how much time the ER battery charging takes. It far exceeded our dedicated (special local power...
We love taking this truck camping... it pulls our 1,500 pound, Colorado-made TimberLeaf Pika teardrop camper perfectly :)
On state park RV sites, the truck is pretty much re-fueled by the time we have cooked breakfast, showered, and walked the dog.
The boys and I store our back packs and...
Well,, it depends on the passengers we allow in our cars :p :ROFLMAO: I am quite free with teenagers, disabled family and a few other such careless miscreants... on occasion, even a tipsy friend or two.
To be clear, I like the 15-inch Ford higher trim screen... and simultaneusly I am not impressed with how Ford shoehorned that screen onto the dashboards. The 15-inch screen mount's floating design and sparse mount points seem like an afterthought.
When the temptation happens it's often far stronger on the passenger side. We drivers have the steering wheel to grab, in every car.
Yes, the Mach E cabin is lower and smaller so it would perhaps be more conducive.
Nonetheless, I frankly do not like the mounting design of the 15-inch...
I've had good luck using DeOxIt electric contacts cleaner, including on my trailer connections. It cleans and then seal-protects the metal contacts.
It's available on Amazon.com
Folks,
I want to give a shout-out to the RokBlokz mud flaps based on their performance on my Lightning during and after the latest snowstorm.
I've had a set on my Mach E Mustang - they replaced another aftermarket mud flap set on that car after the other maker's mudflaps kept popping off and...
Tom, since we met I've added the Decked Drawers 2.0 drawer system for exactly the reasons You mention. Very happy with my Decked -- lots of my tools including all automotive tools and also most of my gym and camping gear are now in the Decked drawers and not in the basement.
FYI, although I...
FYI - I came from a Mach E Mustang (one of the higher trims) with the vertical 15-inch screen. My XLT Option 312A has the 12-inch screen as well as all the hardware buttons below it.
I much prefer the XLT's 12-inch screen, for its unobtrusive shape design as well as its superiority in not...
Yeah so true.
I've got my German RUD snow chains in the truck and they work very well on ice. However, with all the main roads pretty clear, it was pointless and even dangerous to ride in my county on chains last night, with clear streets intermixed with iced-up uncleared streets.
