Try a few dealers. I saw the SUV version at the airport two weeks ago. Looked nice and each dealer probably has a waiting list as well. Had a early spring quote from a nearby one a while back but decided to hold out for a lightning.

The Mach-E looks alright but $61,500 MSRP gets you into the highest level Audi Q4 E-Tron Sportback which is my vote. I know guys who loved their E-Tron after moving from other high end ICE cars. Don’t know anyone with a Mach-E though.

I offered my dealer a couple G over msrp. Figured I’d be losing half the federal credit plus a msrp increase if I waited until the end of next year anyway and I need a truck this year for a house remodel.

I had some phone issues in wave 1. Changed to PC. Make sure you are on the main reservations and order page. Not the actual Lightning res page.

Ask your dealer if the deposit is refundable. Ford states this somewhere when you order. Maybe the ? Next to deposit info.

I would wait until after wave two. Just in case moving would lose you out on it. A few have changed their dealers AFTER being invited to wave 1 and BEFORE placing the online order.

I know a lot of dealers did the prioritizing crap but people are also jumping ship in droves to new dealers to avoid ADM. you could have been bumped by these people as well.
