Damn! Well he is right that trims will disappear if you sit on the reservation longer. But that picture shows XLT also sold out which is suspicious unless people are just getting the standard range trim. Especially suspicious with only 1 person ordering and not every dealer getting one first...

A lot of dealers had mannequins ordered for them by Ford before we had wave one. My dealer mentioned expecting it end of March. They are nice models too like lariat + ERs.

Agree and crossing my fingers! Not to mention if it was delayed they would have only Pros and XLT driving around advertising. No way they don’t pump the roads full of Lariat and Platinums asap.

He doesn’t state any good reason not to order at your dealer. There is no gotcha there. The other point is good that they can’t bump your reservation back to get more ADM. But this is still one dealers opinion on how it works and as we all know, many of them are confused or just ignorant.

Refinancing it is “paying it off” just with a different lender now. I’m sure there are many reasons why it works out well for buyers and Ford, I just pointed out a few off the top of my head.

The big balloon payment at the end would turn off some buyers I’m sure after their three years of lower payments. This takes you back to the dealership to look at new vehicles and possible replace with another unit. They probably get more kickbacks for a sale instead of a lease so the dealer...

Unless it’s different in Canada the reservation numbers are random based on server and region etc. They don’t mean anything and have zero correlation to time stamp.

I disagree a little bit. Driving my wife’s wrangler is torture for me even at only 6’. Lower the seat as far as it goes and I’m still 3” too tall for comfort and I can’t lean back far enough to bring my head to the height I’d like. If I’m gonna spend a lot of $$ on a vehicle that alone would...

Because Ford wants the credit back themselves on leases. Many companies out there will give it to you when you lease from them showing it is possible. They probably write it off as charity giving the lease discount lol.

Unfortunately dealers not adding the ADM when you submit the order online doesn’t stop them from tacking it on come delivery.
