The three 2023 Mach-E GT PEs that have been on my dealer's lot (sent as stock, not ordered) for the last year-plus are now even less of a bargain than they were six months ago.
There used to be a 14k incentive to help move them off the lot. They still didn't sell, literally no interest in my...
My RFA and ACM are still in the list from months ago.
There are some folks who have managed to get rid of one or the other, but not both. Don't really know how that happened.
Your truck has 47 modules. It's highly doubtful that all of them have the latest and greatest software updates.
The Sync Check Updates page only shows you the status of recent OTAs (if any) and does not provide an accurate assessment of your truck's software status. In fact, there are times...
No idea why it worked for a few of us early on, but not anymore.
I still have the ACM and RFA updates in the list, but one or the other of those have cleared for other people that did them after I did. ?‍♂️
Yeah, I don't know why the process of separately running the IPMA Config afterward worked for me and a few others months ago, but is seemingly not working for anybody who tries it now. And it seems to be mostly with '23 models. At least that's my impression.
FDRS has zero audible alerts of any kind. I suppose that's due to the fact that it would be used in a noisy environment where they wouldn't be heard even if there were any.
They obviously should know that on a Lightning with a 36Ah 12V battery that they need to run the shop powersupply/battery tester in the proper mode so that it maintains the 13.6V during programming (using a VCM 3 that would take about an hour).
They don't necessarily have to sit there the...
Actually, I believe it's an issue with the script that updates the IPMA rather than anything a tech did or didn't do. It's more about the update script itself rather than anything else.
If they used a powersupply, and connected up FDRS and ran the IPMA update, and walked away to do something...
Well again it's a bit odd. I don't have Max Tow, but I do have Tow Tech and I got the gain controller in the dash.
This can't be that hard to fix.
Maybe they need to run a LIN initialization to make sure the addition is recognized on the network and check and update any TRM module software and...
Also there is a SSM for running the TRM Config that may help to sort the issue out if you don't have a TRM update listed as available on FDRS.
Wouldn't hurt to run that in any case.
