  1. Lightning Software Updates using FDRS

Download link to the new FDRS 43.6.3 On all major releases like this one, remember to tick the box to 'remove user data' during setup, or you might end up with some strange results the next time you try to use the program.
  2. Installed Toyo Open Country AT3 EV 116 T XL All-Terrain Tires

The "Recommended Tire Pressure" shown in the IPC is an asbuilt value in the BCM. I'm not aware of anything that dealer techs can do using FDRS to change that value. It can be adjusted however using FORSCAN pretty easily. It is important to adjust the value so that the 'alert range' for low...
  3. 2023 Ford Lightning, 4,000 miles - 5 out of 6 lug nuts and studs sheared off of the right front wheel!

You mean like checking the air pressures during PDI as well? Yeah,...I'm sure they did all that.....?
  4. Installed Toyo Open Country AT3 EV 116 T XL All-Terrain Tires

Compared to the original tires...which I really never heard at all, there is now noticeable tire whine and is the one downside to installing these. The whine is worse when they're new though. I've gotten used to it, and it's not as noisy as some of the trucks I'm passing on the highway that you...
  5. Installed Toyo Open Country AT3 EV 116 T XL All-Terrain Tires

That's the same ones I got. Ford had a deal on them a few months ago when they first came out. Here's what they sell for today (in my area). 12 on hand in the local warehouse. You don't have to buy them from Tire Rack..your Ford dealer sells them...
  6. Clock Time Doesn't Match CarPlay Time

A difference in the clock time between what your truck is set to and what your phone thinks the time is? I haven't noticed because I never use carplay (but then, I also wear a tinfoil ball cap when I drive my truck).
  7. $69 EV Registration Fee. Increases are annoying. What about your state?

Sorry, it was a site that came up that looked fairly comprehensive.
  8. $69 EV Registration Fee. Increases are annoying. What about your state?

I posted a link to this PDF, but it got deleted because some members couldn't get to it? I guess? So attached here is the (same) PDF that details the taxes and fees for different states:
  9. ECU module programming guide using FDRS

I'm not sure what to tell you, I've used my Mongoose with FORSCAN plenty of times, but I generally only use the OBDLink MX+ for that (different laptop).
  10. ECU module programming guide using FDRS

Did you install the VCI manager from the Ford site as well?
  11. No over-the-air OTA update since Oct. 2023

If you were to get that update for the Front sensors issue performed, I think you'd find that it is the BC 1.4 update, since it updates the IPMA and PSCM to the latest revisions. But you said you didn't want the dealer to brick your truck...so...
  12. CSP 24B56 - Inoperative Front Parking Sensor(s) - IPMA Software Update for Certain 2022-24 F-150 Lightning Trucks

Well, maybe they should try doing the programming when the 12V battery isn't at 29% SOC and use a powersupply. That would help. (Insert Ron White quote here).
  13. CSP 24B56 - Inoperative Front Parking Sensor(s) - IPMA Software Update for Certain 2022-24 F-150 Lightning Trucks

I haven't heard anything at all about this from anyone. I don't actually expect to. Even if I told them I was using a PL6100 and a VCM3 and have taken the FDRS training, (all of which is true) they might not even believe there's a problem unless technicians on their own forum start asking...
