On all major releases like this one, remember to tick the box to 'remove user data' during setup, or you might end up with some strange results the next time you try to use the program.
The "Recommended Tire Pressure" shown in the IPC is an asbuilt value in the BCM. I'm not aware of anything that dealer techs can do using FDRS to change that value. It can be adjusted however using FORSCAN pretty easily. It is important to adjust the value so that the 'alert range' for low...
Compared to the original tires...which I really never heard at all, there is now noticeable tire whine and is the one downside to installing these. The whine is worse when they're new though. I've gotten used to it, and it's not as noisy as some of the trucks I'm passing on the highway that you...
That's the same ones I got. Ford had a deal on them a few months ago when they first came out. Here's what they sell for today (in my area). 12 on hand in the local warehouse.

But you said you didn't want the dealer to brick your truck...so...

I haven't heard anything at all about this from anyone.
I don't actually expect to.
Even if I told them I was using a PL6100 and a VCM3 and have taken the FDRS training, (all of which is true) they might not even believe there's a problem unless technicians on their own forum start asking...
