  1. Modem

I think it’s one of those Ford parts that says “Scrap if dropped” and I’m guessing some of these drops go into the truck anyways. Just my own theory.
  2. Hacking the Pedistrian Warning System Sounds

Yeah for me it’s not so much about backing up but when driving forward slowly in a parking lot. I’m driving along and people just walk right across the path of the truck without hearing it. Granted these are dumb people for not looking but it seems like they’re like, well if anything is coming...
  3. Modem

This happened to me when I first bought my truck. Nothing worked except finally replacing the TCU / modem.
  4. 2025 Order banks open through dealers today (2/11/25)

The 2022 launch markups dealers added on these were outrageous.
  5. New L2 ChargePoint EVSE announced

These will be capable of 80amp charging and Vehicle to Home/Grid capabilities. Plus dual EV charging on one EVSE. More information here
  6. CSP 24B56 - Inoperative Front Parking Sensor(s) - IPMA Software Update for Certain 2022-24 F-150 Lightning Trucks

The faster/looser steering eventually went away for me after a week or two of driving. I noted earlier in the thread that I felt like I was taking crazy pills, but something about the way the power steering works changed right after the update, but then it "recalibrated" itself after some...
  7. Lightning sales report for Q1 2025

Truthfully, the Lightning is the only real truck of the bunch. It’s no contest.
  8. Lightning sales report for Q1 2025

There will likely be more feature deletes. Steering wheel, windshield. ?
  9. Lariat vs Platinum honest opinion

Interesting to hear the sound system is so much better in the platinum. I wonder if I can upgrade my lariat with platinum sound system parts.
  10. Has anyone figured this out?

Rivian has something called “conserve mode” that disables the rear motor. If I understand correctly it mechanically / magnetically decouples the drive axles from the motor and power to that motor is shut off. Drivers say it adds about 15% range.
  11. Hacking the Pedistrian Warning System Sounds

Agreed. If there was a way to turn down the volume of the reverse sound and increase the volume of the slow speed forward sound I would do that.
  12. Hacking the Pedistrian Warning System Sounds

Yes I feel the truck is way too quiet for pedestrians. People walk right out in front of my truck in parking lots all the time. I would simply like to boost the low speed hum sound a little more.
  13. Hacking the Pedistrian Warning System Sounds

Super interested if this works! Would you also be able to change the volume?
  14. For anyone who owns a Bakflip Revolver tonneau cover

Yeah these plastic pieces have been loose on mine since day 1. I’m not quite sure I get how this plastic plug helps though. I’ll have to go out and see later when it’s not raining.
  15. What's the cheapest way to ugprade the B & O system?

I agree it’s the center speaker on the front dash that is throwing the whole soundscape off. I just wish there was a simpler plug n play replacement or some way to dampen just that single speaker.
  16. TSB 25-2124 Illuminated Powertrain Malfunction (Wrench) With DTC P2797

Interesting. I would hope that unnecessary battery module replacements weren’t being done when it was actually just this.
  17. Apple iOS 18.4 will finally recognize Tesla superchargers in navigation

I did discover a flaw in this recently. If you’re already mapped to a destination and driving and then you think, I’m gonna add a stop to this route to charge up a little. When you tap Add a stop and then choose Chargers - it ignores Tesla chargers. Which is kind of frustrating.
  18. Early brake wear

The cool thing about Ford EVs that even Tesla does not have is the brake pedal regen. So you don’t need 1-pedal to save brake pads. 95% of the time you use the brake pedal your friction brakes are not being used, instead it’s regen slowing you down. Unless of course you slam on the brakes then...
