This is what I do most times as a PAAK user because it’s quick and easy. I hate fiddling with the button on the door handle that rarely seems to work for me.
I think they also removed the door keypad for 2025 amongst other things. Ford has seemingly made no reason for someone to buy the latest Lightning, which is weird to me but what do I know.
There was an over the air update a while back that tried to address these “false” powertrain malfunction” errors but I don’t know if this applied to 2024 models.
I'm just going by what @VirtuallyG posted earlier. I tossed the little booklet that came with the charge adapter but it seemed to state that rain and snow was bad. It's not going to stop me, but I just thought it was interesting the Ford designed adapter said this but the other adapter(s) did...
I’m still stuck on the new power steering feel after getting this update. I’m really not liking how loose it feels and how bumps in the road seem to pull the wheel away from center unlike how it was before. Is this experience similar to others? I also had the front control arm bolt/nut recall...
Thanks for confirming. But that’s too bad it kills Bluecruise. I know there’s another forscan mod out there to be able to view the two mirror cameras side by side on the screen while driving, but that doesn’t work off the turn signal. It’s just manually set on or off. Ford seems so close to...
Reviving an old thread here but has anyone successfully done this with a Lightning? Such that when you use the turn signal, the side camera comes on the screen?
The Lightning is my first EV, but I’ve driven Tesla’s so I know what you mean. However, I still feel Ford got a lot of things right with the Lightning in terms of it being a very tried and true physical platform married to an EV drivetrain. Yes the software feels like Windows 95 and Bluecruise...
