  1. Is the Ford factory making Lightnings again?

Good to see they're churning out of the factory again. But not great to see the feature deletes keep happening.
  2. Article: Ford looking to make amends with dealerships

Good to see. I didn’t understand the initial rollout logic myself and the huge upfront costs for dealers. Then again, I still wish Ford sold their EVs direct like Tesla but I know that’s a pipe dream.
  3. State of Charge Vid: Tesla Supercharger (NACS) Extension Cable

That’s still pretty close to max rate for our truck anyways though right?
  4. Is the Ford factory making Lightnings again?

I recall reading they froze production last month, but I wasn’t sure if the Lightning assembly line was still shut down or not. Just curious if anyone knows any info.
  5. New Ford Charging Adaptor by TESLA Compared to Orginal

Wow the Tesla made adapter is very streamlined it appears. Does anyone know if the 2025 Lightnings will have NACs ports?
  6. A2Z recall (NACS to CCS1 adapter) - overblown concern?

Completely agree. In fact, if you sold it to someone and something happened I’m sure you’d be in legal trouble.
  7. A2Z recall (NACS to CCS1 adapter) - overblown concern?

My personal take on this (after reading all the docs on the recall) is that the old adapter is fine for use and I am keeping it as a backup in the truck. To each their own, follow your own judgement.
  8. BlueCruise 1.4 Road Trip Observations

I’m still too nervous to FDRS things on my truck but good to hear the noticeable difference with stopped traffic. My biggest BC complaint is how my truck plows 65mph towards cars stopped on the highway in the distance and then brakes when it is almost too late.
  9. BlueCruise 1.4 Road Trip Observations

Does anyone know if BC 1.4 OTA first requires the front sensor “recall” to be performed? I haven’t had that done yet on my 2023.
  10. Frunk light bar alignment

On my truck I had to adjust the rubber hood stops a little but I also had to adjust one of the headlights. It wasn’t too hard. See this video:
  11. Why isn’t the Lightning getting more of the gas F150 market?

The pickup truck crowd is probably the most difficult to convince to go EV. But it’s mainly because of all the intentional misinformation being spread about EVs. It’s intended to divide us against each other and it’s being pushed by lobbyists from the oil and gas industry, auto mechanics groups...
  12. Forscan adjustments for wheel/tire size?

Nice to hear it worked! Let us know if you end up seeing a wrench or anything.
  13. NHTSA Recall - Loss of Steering from Front Control Arm Separation (Impacting certain 2023 to 2024 builds)

Mine is also a December 2023 build. Guess I’d better have my nuts checked out.
  14. Ford EV Trucks still eligible for IRS tax credit in 2025.

Thinking selfishly for a moment, I’m unsure if this news means my Lightning will be worth less money or more money after Jan 1 2025. Thinking bigger, I really hope Ford doesn’t discontinue the Lightning entirely. If they had trouble selling these WITH the tax credits then I’m not sure how this...
  15. Show a picture from your daily commute!..

Someday! I vote this the best response so far.
  16. Receiver Hitch Recommendation?

Got it. I am admittedly a total novice when it comes to towing anything substantial, so when I saw he was towing 11k pounds with just a ball hitch and 1k pounds on the receiver I was surprised it was fine. I have the max tow Lightning so in theory it can carry 10k/1k due to the extra battery...
  17. Receiver Hitch Recommendation?

I realize this is an older thread here but I just came across this because I bought a weigh safe drop hitch today. In doing so, I can across this JerryRig video of him pulling an 11,000lb trailer with the Lightning and WITHOUT a weight distribution hitch. Instead he balanced the trailer using...
  18. Forscan adjustments for wheel/tire size?

Anyone know if this F150 process would work on the Lightning for this? It looks pretty easy if so.
  19. Forscan adjustments for wheel/tire size?

I’m going to be going from a 275/60/20 to a 275/70/18 for winter and the difference in circumference is like 12mm bigger so I’m not sure if I need to change anything? I think it would make my speedometer like 0.5mph off. But unsure if I’ll bother with forscan or not.
