I have an appointment on Monday to get the front sensor CSP done. I’m nervous about asking for this TSB as well because it seems to touch so many things. I think I’ll wait on this TSB a few weeks at least.
Nice. I look forward to discovering all kinds of messed up hidden wiring things in my ancient house once I get around to doing this transfer switch project in 2025.
I just noticed a weird thing since the fix though. On two separate occasions it said something like “44% upon arrival” but when I got to within a mile or two of my destination it went up by 1% to 45% but when I arrived home my truck had 44% SOC, while maps still estimated 45%. This 1% jump in...
I just saw there is a FordPass update in the App Store as of about 5 hrs ago for me. I just downloaded it but I haven’t been in my truck yet to see if it fixes the battery issue.
I really think the front camera should come on when you go under say, 5mph or are just getting going from a stop. A standing child can be eclipsed by the front of this truck. It’s no different to me than when the rear camera comes on when reversing. Same idea.
So what is the safe way to handle this? After you get an OTA, verify if your mods are still working and if one or more of them isn't, troubleshoot each one individually and don't do a blanket restore?
Also in MA and did similar math before purchasing and realized it’d be about 1:1 roughly a bit less for the EV. Hoping to get some solar (payoff on that is about 5 years) and that should offset some of the electrical costs.
