The codes are sent to the Ford servers. All the service person has to do is look it up online. Any competent dealer can do it, if they're smart they won't charge a fee.
As far as the valve, where is it located? I don't recall anything in the battery box except batteries. A previous poster...
You need a new dealer. They should be able to see codes remotely after a period and charging 180$ for a code read is stupid but since you're in Toronto they must be used to ripping people.
If the coolant valve is faulting then its most likely a coolant valve, probably cheaper just to replace...
The free adapters had to be reserved through an online system a long time ago now. Canada was included but they took longer to reach Canadian customers, they went out just before they finished shipping the american ones. I think everyone who was going to get one has by now.
Now, once they...
I wouldn't worry with A2z or Lectron, enough people here use them all the time, Lectron even made them for Ford.
Search the forums and you'll get a good overview of them.
But ya, buy the one from the guy in Winnipeg! Good deal!
I waited forever for mine and it was worth it because it was "free".
Tesla stations are super expensive to use though in Ontario so it wasn't a necessity and will barely get used over the life of the vehicle. It was handy the 6 times I used it successfully so far. The only problem with using...
A2z or Lectron are good alternatives but if you want the Ford one you might have to wait or order online and wait. I googled the sku from ford and a bunch of places in Canada pop up with possible stock of it.
Sku: VRK9Z10E826A
Maybe stock...
Do not buy the turbo power brand. Bought a case this winter and the stuff would freeze the nozzles below - 15degc, it's supposed to be rated for - 35 C. They wanted $10 a gallon for the rain x brand, not worth it either. We go through a lot of it up north in the winter.
Mine comes on occasionally, don't know what the triggers are for it. Time for some testing.

From the op:
I have started checking wind speeds on long trips. I use AA and all you have to do is ask google for "whatevercity wind speeds". It usually tells the info, except for Barrie, it said 120kmh. I laughed as it was giving me the info for hurricane Barry, I had to specify the...
It does not.
The Ford Charge Station Pro is configurable via hardware to install in almost any panel. It can be dialed down to 12a or something like that.
Mine is set to 48a max. I used teck copper to run 50ft. It was the cheapest option for me, no boxes or splices required and the 3...
