Most likely you've gotten used to the raw power. Try driving a normal truck around for a week or 2 and then get back in the lightning. It'll feel punchy again.

Personally, I'll never buy Michelin again. The general grabber hts that came with my 23 Lariat were great on road, nice and smooth. If you're concerned about weight rating, you can always go with LT tires. There are tons of options available.
