This happened to me as well. I noticed a performance drop, and I changed my view to show front/rear motors. Apparently my front motor was not functioning. So when I arrived at work, I turned off the truck, waited around 5 minutes, and started it back up again. I again had 100 vs 51 and I had no...
Wifi isn't required, I agree. However if it faster and it works.. .then why not? Its connectivity, and what I see on my side may not show the whole picture, but to download MB of data or even GB shows its doing something. I have months of data being collected and more often than not when I get a...
It took a few cycles, but yes it did. The same goes with the other update recently to 4.2.1. I see a large download (usually several MB in size), and then either that morning or a few days later it gets updated.
Off, but charging/connected to EVSE, and obviously connected to the wireless. Usually it stays active on the wireless for a little bit after I come home, and then intermittently through the night.
Perhaps the updates are small for a reason, and require multiple downloads vs a single download...
I beg to differ on the updates don’t come over Wi-Fi. In fact, that’s where major my updates comes from. My truck just updated to 4.2.1, and I saw the update download to the truck.
With a EV you need to think and plan differently. You also need to plan alternates in case one set of chargers doesn't work. This is why I never go below a certain % when traveling... usually 30-40%. This would give me enough miles to look for other options.
Has anyone noticed where the water is coming in? Regardless if it’s under warranty or not, I wouldn’t mind keeping a lookout on a particular location on the light bar itself.
Also, for those that do have water, have you tried to drill a very small hole to drain the water after your concern is...
As others have stated it’s torque based, not touch. If the truck is driving straight, add some pressure to either side of the wheel either in anti-clockwise or clockwise manner.
If you are 100% certain then you can try to remove and replace the steering wheel. You just need to watch out for the airbag and be sure you retorque back to factory specifications.
I do the same but I don’t have the DM as I use the EdgeRouter Infinity with CloudKey and U6-Pros. Regardless I have logging enabled and I can trace large downloads per session.
If you have no choice and you can’t risk being stranded, then yea sure it would work. I would even contemplate doing that too if I didn’t know the local charging infrastructure.
